Decisions?

At a local comic shop, there is a glass case full of G1 Transformers. I noticed there was a G1 Bruticus in great condition. I mean it looks like someone took it out of its box in the 80's and left it in there until the year 2010.
So my question is....Should I go purchase this G1 Bruticus which is $150 dollars or save my money for all of these new figures coming out and purchase the G1 Reissue of the Seacons and the add=on kits to the present day Bruticus from the ROTF line???
Please help!!

It depends on what you want your collection to be. If you're more inclined to buy a bunch of G1s, go for it! If you're more likely to get a lot of the newer figures, then maybe get the ROTF Bruticus Add-On kits instead. They are really awesome, and the combined form will look more impressive in your collection. Plus, once they're sold out, they'll probably never be made again, which will make them a lot harder to find in the future.

I would also say get Encore instead of G1 if you get Bruticus, it might be cheaper in the end. Really, just get what's cheaper if you decide on G1 or Reissue
Bruticus.

Are you sure the figure is vintage? Takara has relissued the Combaticons in their Encore line. I don't know the going rates atm for the Encore Bruticus but I think it is cheaper.
