The idea would be totally awesome, but would probably turn out not very functional and overly expensive. While the Device Label items are really cool - I kind of feel I'd rather have a non-functioning toy that was more affordable. I managed to get Soundwave and Ravage early on because they're some of my favorite characters, and I sort of what Blaster, but he's going to have to be on a pretty good discount first. So I'd rather have more affordable non-functioning options, I think, because I'm never really going to use them for their intended purpose.

Of course, if they could make it really good (up to today's standards, not like ML Soundwave), and I had the money, it would be one heck of a Transformer.

true, true, but even the existing device label items are really only pricey gimmicks when it comes down to it... soundwave is cheesy as an mp3 player, ravage is very small capacity as a usb stick, & although i have blaster, i would never actually use him as a hub for risk of frying him (most usb hubs are cheesy at best & prone to crapping out, in my experience). just seems to me that reflector would be a natural fit to the device label line

I like this idea. Even if it were just a 5 megapixel or so. If the bot modes looked good and modern I would save up for one for sure. Then again, I have never purchased a Device Label transformer. I too, was thinking op picking up Blaster. Anyone own him? Does he look cool posed with the TFC/ TFU/ TFG stuff? I am on board for the Reflector thing. That, while not entirely practical and a bit over priced could be cool.

That's exactly my point, I think it would turn out to be lame as a camera, but would still be really cool, if overly expensive.

I don't own him personally, but I've seen pics of him posed with Classics/Universe stuff, and he looks good.

I don't need Reflector to even be functional. Gimme three very similar, if not identical robots from one gestalt alt mode and I think I'd pee myself. Yup, I'm sure of it.

I've actually decided to use 3 of the Real Gear guys as Reflector, the video camera, still camera and red cell phone (forgot all their names). Some need to be rebranded as decepticons, but basically, I figure technology has advanced, and they want to cover all bases for surveillance, thus the split into 3 different alt modes. It works, at least until they put out the rumored Generations Reflector.

Generation Reflector is going to be a Perceptor repaint.

If they do a DL Reflector put me down for one (or 3!)
