I like the pics with Ravage. Unfortunately you've made me think that maybe I'll pass on this figure. He is rather ugly.

He's quite a nice figure, to be honest.

The fact that he can form the boombox from the WFC credits video is amazing. It works so well, I'm almost 100% sure it's intentional.

You could technically consider him a triple changer, really.

For $9.00 at Wal-Mart, I've been impressed and have no regrets.

I feel like that too. I was intent on gwetting this guy when I saw him, but I have passed it up a few times. I actually think he looks worse in person, since it is easier to see all the paint app flaws. The same goes for the few examples I have seen of Megatron in package. Optimus and BB seem to have the better quality control in my opinion, at least so far.

I really like the figure, and want to get him, but I just can't an acceptable example in the store, which has been very irritating. The same goes for what I have seen of Megatron too. Hopefully, I will be able to find some good ones next time I look. If that happens, I think I will likely agree with you on the figure itself.

Maybe it's time to buy some paint brushes!

Unlike yourself, I am scared I would make the situation far worse that Hasbro did!

If you are having that much trouble finding an acceptable Soundwave and Megatron, then you will have a hell of a time with Blurr, every figure I have seen so far has horrendous paint. Splotches and scratches on all of them. This is coming from someone who is not picky about paint.

I don't have that problem with any of these figures. Soundwave has two minor blemishes, but Blurr and Megatron do not. In fact, my blurr looks awesome. As for Soundwave, you can only really tell if you are holding it up to your face.

So has anyone had any problems with their figure? My Soundwave remains pending in his package for me to make a choice after just picking him up. So after seeing several on line reviews there was only one guy who said he had problem with one of the arms poping off and one of the fists also during transformation.

So I was wondering if he was just struck by misfortune or if there are others that had these problems or others. The feedback you all can give will decide weather I open or return it, thanks all!

My Soundwave figure is perfectly fine. No problem whatsoever with arms or fists popping off. Mine's solid.

Oh wait, one of his feet do like to pop off at the ankles though... But it's easily pop back in so I don't really mind.

Mine is fine and I tink he looks fantastic. The only paint issue is I think he could use more, specifically metallic silver instead of the dull gray plastic and the purple on the wheels could be darker.

Now that I think of it, one of the fists did get a little misaligned at one point, like it wasn't on the little post far enough to fold in for transformation. It wasn't like that when I bought and opened the figure.

Popping it off and popping it back on firmly fixed it right up and it hasn't had any issues with it since. It really took a lot of force to pop it back on right, and it's definitely not coming back off again without a lot of force, so I can't figure out how it ever got misaligned in the first place.

This happened like a day or two after I got the figure, and it's now been 2 weeks, so I wouldn't shy away from it on account of that. Nothing else has even hinted at popping off.

Hey thanks to everybody and their feedback on this issue. I've decided to keep Soundwave and send him into the fold! :CON:

I got him and I really like him. He looks good on the Classics shelf. His scale is good with the rest of the Deluxes. He looks good with the Ravage that came with Hound. He is certainly better than huge-dong Titanium Soundwave.

The only negative I have with this figure is the yellow paint on his cassette door is a little messed up. Other than that, he is all good.

I got mine several weeks ago, no paint or QC problems at all.

One of the first things I did was try to make him into a boombox. Looked ok as soon as I get my camera back from a friend I loaned it to I'll put a pic of my boombox mode up.

This is quite a nice figure I like both the bote mode and the vehicle mode.
