WFC Megatron Transformation Problem

I got myself a WFC Megatron recently and I'm liking it more than I expected. Something about the exact shades of grey and red are doing it for me on that figure. Plus it's pretty kibble-less. Would have been nicer if the treads locked in, but otherwise good.

Anyway. I had a problem with mine. When transforming to tank mode, Megsy's right arm wouldn't quite click into place. It was out by 1-2mm. Which meant the claw part attached to his left shoulder couldn't lock in either.

I thought it might be a bit of platic from the tree that hadn't been cut of properly, or a clearance issue, but I couldn't find anything. I tried forcing it but it wouldn't budge and I felt that I might be stressing some plastic somewhere. I thought, "Maybe they misassembled something?", so I took the arm apart, turned it around and tada! Perfect.

So if anyone else has this issue, just unscrew the two screws in the middle of the back of his shoulder. Loosen the top shoulder screw (don't need to fully remove it). Then take off his arm, rotate the black shoulder joint bit 180 degrees, and put the arm back on.

Hope this helps if anyone else has this issue :)

I think that's a common factory issue with this figure (I'm not sure, haven't asked around). I ended up getting two WFC Megs and both had the issue, only the first one had two left arm parts so it didn't work no matter what I did @_@

Interesting... I haven't even noticed if mine has this problem, but now I'm going to check.
