Star Trek cross overs

After the relative success of both Star Wars and Marvel Transformers cross overs series, I would love for Hasbro to now release a Star Trek based variant as well.

Does anyone else think that could be a cool idea, or is it just me?

I'd love a Romulan Warbird figure, but since Hasbro doesn't produce the Star Trek figures (at least, I'm fairly sure of it), I find that to be highly unlikely.

Yeah, could be cool, but I don't see it ever happening, because to my knowledge Hasbro doesn't do any Star Trek merchandise...so basically, what Mkall said.

Meh... it'd be cool if done well. But the SW figures were a huge waste of a good idea.

It would have the potential to be pretty cool, but if it were anything like the Star Wars Transformers, the vehicle modes would sometimes have bad proportions, and the robot modes would look awful, and most likely be covered in kibble. I would really like a Spock figure that turned into the Jellyfish ( his ship from the J.J. Abrams movie), however.

Also that.

I found your avatar quite fitting to your statement.

I dont own any SW ones. We dont have galleries of those right? lol I just want to see how bad they are upclose. The packaging usually they look alright, save for kible.

I own the Death Star/Darth Vader one. It's very much a shellformer. Most of the actual Death Star is just panels that fold into chunks on the arms and legs and two big parts on the shoulders.

It's just... a 'true' crossover between 'Wars and TF would be made of unbelievable win. Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp as TIE fighters or X-wings! A leader-class Prime that transforms into a juggernaut! Megatron as Han Solo's blaster! It'd be as close to a license to print money as you could get!

Instead we have... Image

I'm trying to count the fail here and it's just not stopping!

Haha, I get where youre coming from. Crossovers as in, Transformers have to hide in SW Universe. After looking through more pics, I have to agree, they are kind of poorly done. I did pick up the Vader/Tie Fighter, its not that bad, but I think its only because Vader can pull off bring a robot better than say a human/animal faced being. But yeah, I will stay TF Universe lol

The Death Star was great. But most other SW TFs sucked.

I wouldn't mind Star Trek Transformers, but I'd really only want an Enterprise and a Borg Cube. And I can't even picture how the Enterprise could transform into a believable robot.

Yeah, I could never understand why none of the crossover lines do not have actual Transformer characters in the toyline. It is a part of the Transformer brand after all.

Aside from the weirdly shaped ship proportions, most of the crossover toys are modeled after the crossovered franchise's characters. Since everybody would love to have a starship over a shuttle craft, it doesn't leave that many captains to be used up, aside from Kirk, Picard, Sisko, Janeway, and Archer, there's next to nothing in captains that would stand a chance of being remembered, let alone popular with today's kids.

Also, I think shuttlecrafts would make better transformers than the ships, but not by much.
