Just a quick, silly little vid about how I fix loose ball joints.

While this is probably greatly appreciated to most toy owners with loosening ball joints in their toys, I have tried this technique 5 times on Override... and EVERY SINGLE TIME, NOTHING! So I've basically resolved to let her suffocate forever in the back of my closet, since her condition is 100% unfixable.

Anything else though, yeah, it'll probably work :D

Did you use the wonderful invention that is Zap-A-Gap or did you use Nail Polish? I used it both on my regular Override and the Junker in this video and, as you can see, they work fine.

Great video! I especially like the "let it dry overnight" part. I shall keep this in mind should any of my many ball-jointed TFs become loosened.

Well you can't claim I wasn't thorough on the visual instructions.

I think that shot alone sells it.

Does it matter what I used when I put 5 FRICKIN' LAYERS OF IT on the joints to literally zero effect?

Great video. Very helpful.

Shadowstream, the material you use matters a lot. The more dense the stuff is, the more friction it will apply to the socket.

It certainly can. Using a different product is likely to generate different results, after all. Is your Override as bad as mine, swinging freely in the breeze? I applied three layers to mine, but I made sure the last one was extra-thick. My "Try Again" example was still totally loose, so I gave it gusto and it worked.

Comic, Hobby and Game stores. The more elements of that the store has, the more likely they are to carry it. Really, any super glue for plastic figures with a thick consistency will do.

While this video will help lots of people and is amusing it is, in fact, just the superglue trick. It doesn't take less than sixty seconds if you have to wait over night. I thought you'd found something quick that meant the toy would be perfect in less than a minute.

Maybe the cup of the joint is split. If so, adding layers to enlarge the ball with just force the split wider.

The "Let it dry overnight" part made this video a 10/10 for me. I literally burst into laughter!

The cup itself is too thick to split. I don't even remember what brand it was at this point, just that this technique has worked in the past on numerous other ball joint repairs with more than adequate results, but Override refuses to gain any friction whatsoever after 5 layers of applied adhesive on both balls. What really disturbs me is that getting the leg on and off the joint is a horrific experience as it's so tight, but once the ball itself settles into the socket it's looser than a New Vegas hooker.

Er... nice description!

How about putting a bit of masking tape on then gluing it?
