Man Sledge looks awesome. These new mini-cons look like the best yet to me.

Picked up Icepick with Chainclaw the other day, they're pretty cool. I actually thought they were wave 1 and I'm suprised they're wave 2 because I got them at Tesco's lol

While I'm not impressed with the whole PPC concept, I do like some of these figures by themselves. I have both Sledge and Chainclaw and they're pretty good Scouts.

My only gripe is the clear plastic on the minicons just because the clear plastic breaks easier.

Ahaha! I just found and got these guys yesterday too. I absolutely LOVE Sledge's design and the idea that he can give people BEARHUGS OF DOOM with that chest saw. Throttler makes a cool weapon but not so great of a robot or armor piece.

Leadfoot is good, his minicon is pretty sweet, and I feel less bad about his big hands after finding out that when Pinpoint is in chest armor mode, the hands can hold the pegs like he's still manning his guns.

Icepick has a bitchin' altmode, and Chainclaw is pretty boss for a little guy... even if his name makes no sense. Personally I like the long arms and clawed hands of Icepick's robot mode, I can see how they'd be great for climbing icy cliffs.

Overall, even if you don't like the drone sets, most of the core figures make great scout/minicon pairs on their own.

I really like the concept of Icepick. He's going to fit well with the Adventure Mini-Con Team or perhaps their X-Dimension variants.

Can't wait to find these guys, Sledge in particular. Now if only all those Wave 1 chaps would clear the shelves...
