Which is exactly why BBTS will get poor sales of Megatron. I have a contact in Hong Kong who managed to get me the first run MP Megatron and Takara Book reissue G1 Megatron without modifications. Being a UK resident helped with import rules too.

I don't know it could mean Masterpiece Limited (Edition/ Exclusive) thingy.

Good question! Fixing that would probably make a repurchase worthwhile...

Megatron was the first Transformers Masterpiece I bought for $100 MISB but Optimus I ended up buying loose because I didn't know about the Masterpiece line until well after he was released and well before the re-releases came which I didn't buy because I didn't want to have to find space for the huge trailer that I didn't want.
The Optimus reissue comes out in perfect time for my birthday next year and it's getting bought. The loose MP01 one will be going on Ebay next week!!

Thank you Takara Tomy for this last chance to get him at a reasonable price!!

I think it means "Master Piece Last" - supposedly it's the final version of that mold being released.

BBTS labels the "new" masterpiece as MPL-01 but the correct label is MP-1L. I also believe that "L" mean "LAST" .

The orange barrel plug is a non-issue. I didn't even need pliers, came out just by pulling with my fingers. Only hardcore MISB collectors would shy away from buying from them.

i've only ever handled MP Starscream US with coronation set and Takara US version in jet mode.

The rest are sitting in their boxes. I think US Skywarp will be next to put on display.

Afraid to set them up on top of my shelves, its a long fall down in case they get bumped.

Don t have Sleep Convoy or Crystal Starscream though, any opinions if they are worth it?

Eh...probably not. Starscream looks pretty neat, and if you think clear Henkei Starscream is worth the price, then maybe. The biggest problem I have with SS, though, is I try to keep my figs away from much light, and the clear ones look best in front of light... In shaded, soft lit conditions, it not all that visually impressive.

Sleep convoy looks too much like Black Convoy, who I think I might actually regret a little (although at the new price of $119 he may not have been so bad.) I think I'd like BC better if he were Nemesis Prime, but there's not much hiding the raised Autobot insignia, at least not without a permanent mod. Back to Sleepy, what are you gonna do with him? Unless you're gonna have him displayed lying down (taking up a lot of space) he just doesn't seem to serve much purpose...

Is he going to have more diecast? The other one was so nerve-wracking to transform because he had so much plastic and weak spots...
That for me would be the only reason for me to justify buying another.

It's probably going to be the same as the first release, much like the reissues they've done of MP-01 & MP-04 in the past.

I would think clear Starscream...as well as Sleep Convoy would look pretty sweet under a black light.

Maybe, but I believe black light would be especially bad for the plastic if exposed for any significant amount of time...

...yes, you're correct, blacklight basically = UV light...may look good, but bad in the long run...
