Transformers video reviewer and Seibertron.com member Optibotimus has posted a new review of Hasbro's upcoming Reveal The Shield, voyager class Solar Storm Grapple. Grapple is a repaint of Henkei/Universe Inferno. The video of the repainted/remolded release highlights all the changes between the two figures including the remolded arms and the crane and hook that replaces Inferno's spray cannon. Solar Storm Grapple is part of the series 1 of Hasbro's 2011 voyager figures and is expected to be released at the end of the year.

I apologize for not mentioning the drone in my Thunderwing review. I honestly didn't know about that aspect of him. I've subsequently took pictures though, that i'll happily post if people want to see

Good, solid looking remold. I find it very funny that the figure didn't come with a rub sign. I really like the new head sculpt and the re-molded feet. The fact that the new arms took away from the forearm panel swivel disappoints me. But, I guess Hasbro has to make a profit somewhere.

I just got an Inferno and think it's wonderful. I'll probably pick S.S. Grapple but I'm concerned about the joints on the crane arm. I hope they don't pop of too easy :???:

Solar Storm, like Jazz's "Special Ops" and Tracks's "Turbo" is their way of trying to use a prefix other than "Autobot" in the names of characters that they no longer have rights to the names of. This is so that when you "Reveal The Shield" to find out their allegiances, it's not spoiled by the toy's name. (Not that we ever question what allegiance they are)

No faction? Super secret origins? It's clearly Hauler.

Still resembles a fat blocky piece of crap depressingly. A real shame but expected since seeing Inferno.

Looks better than I was expecting from the pictures. Still not getting him though, 1 version of this mold is enough for me.
