Mine was a movie Bumblebee I got back in '07. All the other ones I had were gifts and trade-offs and stuff

The first one I bought with my own money is the voyager class Robo-Vision Optimus Prime.

OOh... first one I bought with my own money... hmm... Beast Wars Quickstrike. I have a definite feeling that it was Quickstrike.

Youngins.

I bought G2 Spychanger Firecracker when I was a kid! And he was the first and last I bought with my own money until I started collecting. Then I believe it was Alt Smokescreen, followed quickly by a bunch of Reissues, Universe 1.0, and Energon.

This is a good question. I do remember the first TF I ever owned and that was a G1 Jazz. My parents bought it for me when I was a young lad. A lot of memories I had with that figure, hence why I like the character a lot

As for the first Transformer that I ever bought, hmm...it was either G1 Grimlock or Hasbro's first Masterpiece Optimus. I can't quite remember which one of the two it was but they were both bought almost during the same month. Signs of aging I suppose

I had five G2 figures that I had gotten as birthday or Christmas presents but the first one that my hard earned money went towards was Razorbeast. I was pretty disappointed in the car ride home when all I did was flip up his tail and he transformed automatically, but once I got my hands on some of the deluxe Beast Wars figures, The automorphing of the little guys didn't bug me so much anymore. So that aside, Razorbeast remained my favorite basic Beast Wars figure, so I picked good I guess.

G1 Countdown.

The first one I ever bought with my own money were the G2 Ramjet and Jazz.

Venom. The Marvel character, not the Insecticon.

I remember buying a lot of G2 when I was a kid, but the first toy I really bought for myself in the beginning of my collecting years was the first Takara reissue of Predaking. And boy is it still snazzy :3

RiD Grimlock. It was in pieces by December.

First one I got with my own money was Defensor.

First ones I ever got were Diaclone Bluestreak and Inferno. I still have them but in very poor condition

First transformer I got was G1 sideswipe. Red Lamborghini

Hound for me.....way back in 87 when I was 7.my Grandad bought him for me.

I wasnt too into Transformers until I was bout 10 or so.....and Ireland was flooded with them then.you had nearly all the series here at the one time.first one I bought with my own money was Powermaster Optimus Prime.that was after my Confirmation.....cool day....and so much to choose from but I feel I chose well.

After my parents gave me G1 Hound for Christmas I was addicted and disappointed that they'd only bought me one Transformer. As soon as possible after Christmas I went to the nearest town to buy Warpath with my Christmas money.

My fourth TF after Outback, Galvatron and Wideload. My brothers had Cyclonus, Scourge, a couple Throttlebots and a few Minibots at that stage.

I couldn't help but feel the Autobots were in deep slag at that point but then my youngest bro got Rodimus Prime who helped even the odds.

I got Prime, Thrust and Blitzwing as presents on my seventh birthday. I think the first TF I actually bought with my own money was G1 Galvatron.

However thinking back to my school days, I seem to remember swapping a lot of my toys for TF's with my mates, in fact that's how the majority of my collection was acquired at that time.

I did a few swaps too man.fun times......I remember I got Rodimus Prime through a swap.....although for the life of me I cant remember what I swapped for him

Youngins? dude I'm only thirteen I was like 10 when the movie came out, I am definetly a youngin'...

The first TFs I bought with my own money were G1 Optimus and G1 Megatron. I bought them at the same time. I lost both of them in a fire in 2003. Haven't replaced them since.

I think it was Kickback when I was a kid. It might have been Hound too though. I can't remember. I am pretty sure it was Kickback as far as being the first TF I ever bought with my own money. Wow, that was a long time ago.

The first Transformers figure that I bought was Soundwave.

I liked Buzzsaw more than Laserbeak, a shame Buzzsaw didn't appear in the cartoon as often.

Beast wars transmetal megatron. He was awesome.
