How come Hasbro doesn't release "lost" figures?

I don't know if this been ask before, but with the remaining animated figures being release through other outlets, and certain tail-ends figures from other lines getting lost in distributions....Why don't they just all non-store exclusives figures on their site?

Do you think we will ever see the day where hasbro just cut out the middlemen and become their own store?
What your thoughts?
:-?

It makes no sense why Hasbro didn't make more HA Mudflaps available through their website instead of sending "overstock" to stores like Marshalls & TJ Maxx.

Selling the unreleased Animated figs on the site is a good idea, but I don't think it'll happen. I don't think those figs ever got produced in mass quantities.

Mercenary Swindle, Fugitive Wapsinator, Goldfire Grimlock, Thundercracker and (I think) a Blurr redeco.

And the molds were made for Wingblade Optimus and Hydrowhatever Bumblebee.

They'd be helping recoup Takara's costs by sharing the mold.

Don't forget Blackout...that's the one that chaps me that didn't get released here. I don't care so much about the repaints.

what is Hasbros problem with Thundercracker......Sunstorm beats him to the gate in animated and Acid Storm(for clearer reasons)in CHUG.mass retail that is-should have made that clearer

just get Thundercracker out there Hasbro so we can have our seekers in both formats

He was the first one in the Titanium series. So Starscream, Skywarp, Sunstorm and Thrust are all his repaints.

On a side note: I hate when people say Thundercracker was never released in CHUG because he was. He was released in Henkei, the "H." No, he wasn't release by Hasbro and the only Thundercracker in the Classicverse thus far is from Botcon but CHUG is a catch all term that includes a line where he was released.

yeah I know he was released in Henkei and Titanium Im talking about Animated and mass retail CHUG.

botcon may as wel never happened for me because I had zero chance getting it so I dont count it.

I wont be happy until his Animated and Classics figures get a proper release.

Then prepare for a long wait. Hasbro can only sell figures if stores are prepared to take them in. Animated is long gone and principle focus right now is on the movie, Generations and the upcoming Reveal the Shield filler line. Animated no longer has a primary spot and since the figures (except Blackout) are repaints, chances are, unless the line get rebranded or the figures get shelved to a different line entirely, they won't see release as the stores will say "they're not new, they just have different colors".
