Just looking for opinions on this guy... I'm not a real big fan of the mold to be honest, but I do think the colors look badass. And he's currently on sale at BBTS for only $40. Is there much of a point in getting him? I don't even know what continuity he fits into, if any, other than looking cool...

if I could only have 1 transformer it would be this one. I love the mold and color scheme. I should have quit collecting after I received this manna from the heavens

Best version of the mold, IMHO.
I use mine as Whisper, looks cool alongside universe Stormcloud

He's a gorgeous figure, definately worth it if you have 40 dollars to spare.

Do you guys have any idea how much I've spent on TFs the last month or so? And now I just spent $40 more! You were supposed to talk me out of it...

Yeah, but I bet you don't regret it, he's awesome.
It's only money after all!

Not our fault you bow to peer pressure easily

I think you'll truely enjoy him.

Dammit, that's badass. Now I want him too!

Haha, but I know he has no place in my collection, so I will resist.

No place in mine either

Weren't there reports on mild mold degradation in this guy?

I can't recall... but I haven't been following this one too closely.

I love the colors on that guy, but he just doesn't fit into my collection anywhere. I have been able to hold off on buying him so far...

I think the key words in that sentence are 'so' and 'far'...

I think this figure looks fantastic. I can totally see why people want him. I don't need it though. Treadbolt is enough for me.

He is superb as a figure and with the cool paint job but was let down by not being a truly legit character.
Most people just weren't interested when he came out and I wonder if down the line he might become like Henkei Wildrider (to a lesser extent anyway) and be one of those classics completionist figures that collectors have to pay over the odds for because they passed up on first time round and then really regretted not buying due to the greatness of the figure.
I really think he is a very underrated exclusive and $40 is less than he originally went for in Japan (it was around $50).

He does look cool but I don't think more and more characters should be given the evil treatment. Optimus Prime can have Nemesis Prime but I think it should be left at that.
