-A man walks through Toy's R Us and see's this on the shelf. He is mesmerized by the fantastic box art and decides to buy it straight away. On the way home he imagines opening this amazing looking toy. Finally he gets home, tenderly opens the box and a brick falls out. The man feels extremely cheated that he paid so much for a large orange brick, he wishes he bought a Power Ranger Megazord.-
No offence to the G1 toy because I think it is one of the best G1 combiners but the box art promises so much more than the toy can deliver.

Damn I want to get him. My near-term financial situation is a bit up in the air and, in order to be fiscally responsible, I should probably pass. But damn...I want him.
I can just picture this guy standing on the bridge of khazad doom with Magnus the White facing him off shouting "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!"
ok...I think I have been working too many hours...man I need a break. I actually thought that was funny.

Maybe this guy should pay attention to the sides and possibly the back to where it shows the actual toy.

Amen! You beat me to it. I heard this argument from adults all the way back to 1984 about how I was getting "cheated" out of my allowance money. My answers still apply: 1) even as a 10-year-old I can tell the difference between a painting and a photograph, and 2) that's why I have an imagination.

The box art is fantastic.
It better be the metal version for the price they are asking - $200 in the States and 15,000 Japanese yen over here!!
That's twice what Masterpiece Prime is going for (7,000+)
I know it's the biggest combiner + it's a group of deluxes combining but for the price I'm expecting the metal version!!

This will be my first Takara Transformer purchase, and it looks gorgeous. What a way to get into the Takara line, yeah?

Mine's a late birthday present, only late because he's not out yet. She's pretty good to me.

I'm skipping the CD add-ons though. I don't want to support them because I disagree with their marketing and pricing.
