If you had to make a must have list of Animated figures, which would you recommend?

Delux Cybertron Prime (has an axe!).
Leader Megatron.

They'll be in scale. I think. Or would Voyager Prime fit better? I'm not sure.

The other figures are mostly meh although Delux Prowl is super-poseable so he's a good one to have but will be out of scale with everything else.

Voyager Optimus Prime (with Deluxes ax,) Ultra Magnus, Leader Megatron, Swindle, Jazz, Soundwave (with either Laserbeak or Ratbat,) Grimlock, Rodimus, Arcee, Ironhide, Blitzwing, purple Shockwave, Activator Bumblebee, and Blurr.

Whichever character you like, the figures are all pretty much awesome!

The ones I have:

Cybertron mode Prime
Chopper Megatron
Ultra Magnus
Grimlock
Prowl
Rodimus
Soundwave

Leader Megatron
Voyager Prime with Deluxe's Axe

I really liked the Animated stuff but there were some misfires.I recommend

for me those are the pick of the bunch

I have Voyagers Prime and Megatron, Soundwave w/ Ratbat, Samurai Prowl and Freeway Jazz. The only ones I'd like are Leader Megatron (to present accurate scale with Prime; Voyager Megs was a Christmas gift), Blitzwing (LOVED the character), maybe Ultra Magnus (just for that hammer) and Elite Guard Prowl (for the color scheme).

My must haves are:

1. Blurr
2. Activators Bumblebee
3. Deluxe Soundwave or Electrostatic Soundwave (Activators Soundwave is pretty sweet too)
4. Deluxe Prime, either Earth or Cybertron version

i really only want Longarm Prime(grey) and then the purple shockwave

I pretty much got every character that is a G1 homage, plus Lockdown. As for must-haves... Arcee, Rodimus, Prime, Leader Megatron, and one of the Voyager seekers. Personally I think Skywarp looks the best. But there are a LOT of good Animated figures.

oh and rodimus minor...

Animated is my most complete collection as I think that Animated is THE best Transformers series bar none, I find their designs so good and I love most of the figures. My Animated collection gets more love than my G1 collection...

Anyways, the MUST HAVES would definitely be:

Voyager Optimus Prime
Voyager Grimlock
Deluxe Jazz
Leader Megatron
Voyager Shockwave
Voyager Starscream
Voyager Blitzwing
Deluxe Soundwave

Getting more would probably end with you hooked to the line like I am, but I think those guys are the best of the sets. The only ones that I dislike are Sentinel Prime (who I still bought to complete my Elite Guard) and Lugnut (who is one of the only Animated figure I don't own).

Safeguard is also uniquely awesome.

Using this thread to ask you guys which Animated characters these are, and if they are missing stuff, like weapons and such:



I know O/P, Bumblebee, Ratchet, but which version exactly? I'm gonna look up some reviews, and see if this lot is worth my money. TYVM!

Looks like:

-animated deluxe cybertronian optimus prime

-animated deluxe earth version ratchet

-animated deluxe prowl

-activator bumblebee and lockdown (the black and lime green one)

-voyager live action movie starscream (the big tan one)

-star wars crossover commander cody (the stormtrooper looking one)

-and some sort of activator movie 1 jazz, not sure which sub line it comes from though

-and an o/p mask

Thanks guys! Just what I needed to know. I'm only looking for one of each character, and I'd like the best versions. So it looks like this lot isn't it.
I spotted a good lot earlier, but the seller withdrew :\
I do currently own Leader Ultra Magnus (sans hammer alas), Deluxe Prowl, Leader Megatron, and a big (I assume Voyager) Starscream and Sunstorm. I want that cool Voyager O/P, Blitzwing perhaps, the big Bulkhead, Voyager Grimlock and the other dinobots perhaps if I can find them. Oh and the best looking Bumblebee, and maybe Ratchet. We will see.

I recently acquired Animated Leader Bulkhead and I would def recommend him. I'm slowly completing the Animated line and it's def one of my fav lines.

Of the ones I've owned:

Leader Megatron
Oil Slick
Lockdown
Rodimus
Ratchet (Cybertron mode)
Soundwave

I'm just reminded by my lack of Ironhide and Rodimus Minor when I read these recommendations. My domestic Animated collection is practically complete besides those two. Anyway Blurr is probably my favorite from the line. Prowl, Jazz, and Oilslick also get high marks.
