How do you like the ROTF Banzai-Tron?

Samurai-design seems popular in robot toys series. I also have a mold of Astray Red frame Gundam with similar design.
How do you guys think of the components and designs in details with samurai sword or some others? Dislike or like?

Some people just like robots with swords. I am one of those people. I don't have Banzai-tron, but I do have ROTF Bludgeon (first use of that figure mold) and he is awesome. I also have a 1/100 Red Frame Astray and it's really cool.

love him.when I open him at Christmas he will be posed beside his fellow Mayhem Squad member Bludgeon.
I love how well these fit with CHUG.

I'm glad this came up. I'm (presumably) getting Bludgeon for X-Mas, and I am still wondering whether I should get Banzai-Tron also to go with BB Prime. The mold looks most excellent to me, but I don't know if I should get two of it. Could someone help me here?

If you want a great representation of Banzai Tron to display in your classics collection, get the Botcon version. I have it and it's pretty much flawless.
If you don't want to shell out that much for Banzai Tron (in other words, if you're not a fan of the character), then the ROTF version should do just fine. I had him, but the mold doesn't scream Banzai Tron to me...especially if you already have the original Bludgeon. The two look very awkward together. The ROTF Bludgeon mold is so spot on to Bludgeon's character, it doesn't fell right being anyone else. It's like taking Classics Megatron, painting it red and calling it Ironhide.

For some reason Bludgeon doesn't really do it for me. I quite like the transformation and the weapon reveal is fascinating but other than that he underwhelmed me. Rotating wrists would've helped double hand sword poses but there's nothing actually wrong with him.

To be honest, I've been fiddling/transforming Drift since the day I got him, and he really hasn't made his way to a shelf yet lol.
But, He will most likely end up with the other samurai 'bots!
