I've Got a Tight Budget; What Should I Get Before X-Mas?

Ok so I have a maximum budget of $20.00 USD. It's getting close to Christmas, and I'd like to get something good to keep me occupied until Christmas. There's some cool stuff coming out from waves 2 and 3 (still wave 1 here), so with this budget, what would you recommend I buy from the new TF line?
I already have:
Cybertronian Optimus Prime
Battle Blade Bumblebee
Battle Blades Optimus Prime
Smolder and Chopster

Hold off till January - that money will go further. ;)

Or....buy a nice bottle of something to share with the missus, if there is one. Don't forget to cook! ;)

I say get a couple of deluxes, Blurr and Cybertron Prime. Two of my current favorites. Plus I doubt we will see much more than that until after the holidays.

i'd say prime and megsy i love them. i would hold off from dirge, simply beacuse you are on a tight budget. once you get one seeker, it becomes a race to get them all!

I haven't opened these two yet but they'd be a great pair for staging little battles!

On second thoughts, you probably can't get them both for 20 bucks. Scattorshot is a good scout.

Wasn't thinking of taxes, but Walmart or Target have deluxes at 9 or 9.99, so as long as you can scrounge up another $10 to make up for the 5.5% Ohio sales tax, you should be good.

I would also suggest Scouts Hubcap and Breacher, two awesome, awesom molds.

Best advice to you: Don't assume we're all above a certain age in here. TFs are for all ages alike. I don't have to worry about the missus...yet, at least.
Cooking is also a skill I should develop in the future...so I don't come across as a lazy to the wife.

I think...my misplaced humor failed to hit its target.

I stand by the wait until the after-Christmas sales advice, though.

*edit* PHP code failure.

Breacher- Found him at Walgreens w/ Sunspot, but if I get him I'll be too tempted to buy his buddy SeaSpray to go with him.
Thrust- Eh...I like the mold, don't like the colors. Could use the missiles for Classics Skywarp though.

You will be sorry if you don't get a Thrust, you'll only want one later and it will only cost you more.

I will have to agree with DISCHARGE. I did the same with Ramjet and had to pay $36 later on.......................................................................................................................UNFORGIVABLE!

I'd go with smolder & chopster. because at least it's a toy based off a character that doesn't have any previous updated homage new molds.

Blurr & Breacher. You don't really need Seaspray to go with him, he's not THAT important. You can always get Seaspray later anyway. Breacher will sell out.

Well guys, I had decided on waiting for Generations Blurr and Dirge. Then I went to TRU to find a random overstock of Animated deluxes and nabbed the elusive (to me anyway) Animated Blurr for $6.49 USD! I love him so much. Better go back for another figure, maybe Bee or Electrostatic Soundwave.

Oddly, I find him really annoying in the original movie.

Well, if we do to him what Shockwave did in Animated and forget about him then he's still awesome.

Well, I decided to treat myself to another figure and got Generations Thrust for $9.04 at Target.
Also, it's a good idea to get out to the stores and help them out this week and next week with all of the sales going on so they can restock with more figures.

Of course he's awesome, he's in my sig! I actually never watched Animated but have most of the figures anyway. I know the original Movie was geared towards kids, which is why the characters have their quirks, so that's cool. My best experience with Blurr so far has been IDW's interpretation, and I like him. 8)

Oh, well, to make a long story short, he gets on Shockwave/Longarm's case so Shockwave throws him in a trash compactor device. Robot mutilation!
And I don't really follow the comics, because I have no idea where to find them. But I am so excited that I may be getting Generations Blurr for Christmas, but if I don't I'll buy him anyway. I can't not have him. I must return to the galleries and look at him again! =P~

lol, hopefully you do get him! :D

...that made me kind of sad, reading about Animated Blurr. :-(
