Looks pretty good. I was going to get one for parts (my custom needs a better head) but I may get one for display.
Solid review.

Yeah this EmGo dude is pretty entertaining.
Good review, just hope Percy and the rest show up over here.
Otherwise, i'll have to pay thousands on eBay

Agreed! A really awesome addition to the CHUG line. This toy really has me excited.

I'm sure he'll appear where you reside at. It's true most of us have been seeing Wave 1 of Generations at store shelves but I was lucky to come across both Blurr and Dirge at a Walmart a couple weeks back. This was in Virginia btw - the place that barely gets new. So don't give up hope

Love it. As of today this is the RTS figure I'm looking forward to most. That will likely change as soon as we see the next new video review, but whatever.

I don't like that his arms don't really lock, or that the vehicle mode looks kind of bland, but there's just so much to love about this guy. Relieved to see he can hold the sniper rifle!

I totally agree with you there! I can't wait for this guy. I especially love the kibble management built into his legs ect. Hasbro did a great job on his design

I see broken windscreens being a potentially common problem with this mold.

I do like how this figure is able to hold a wide variety of weaponry including his G1 rifle. I think this "open-hand" trend is really the best thing to come out of these recent lines.

Meh. Nothing about him really reflects his name or his original function. Now he's just another car.
I'm also disappointed with Generations (WFC) Soundwave. Just like Perceptor, they made the robot resemble the original, but got rid of what made him SOUNDWAVE.

Perceptor has every visual cue that his original robot mode had, down to the arm dials.
Plus, his original toy HAD a treaded tank mode.

Agreed, Perceptor is a clever update of the original - if i want a transforming microscope i'll get the reissue of the G1 toy...

yeah no offense but for some reason i dont thinka deluxe sized microscope or boombox would really fit in. I mean it was nice in the cartoon to see it, but no kid nowadays is going to buy a microscope transformer...i mean come on. That said his half-track mode looks pretty sweet.

They prolly said that back in the day aswell.
Nevertheless. Arguably a disappointing alt mode but deadly robot mode. Favorite part for me is being able to hold his G1 weapons. Has that ever happened before? That blew me away and single handedly persuaded me to buy him. I'm just bummed that they didn't make him a microscope. SO close to G1 in robot mode that they coulda made him a triple changer.
Just wanna get my hands on him and find that microscope mode. There has to be one!

I can kind of see how some of the fandom is bummed about Perceptor not being a Microscope. Although in the figure's defense, it's not
THAT bad of an altmode. But, eh. Whatever, right? It's great to see him released at all in this line
Sidenote: I'm wondering why this hasn't been made front news yet. Are they waiting for Peaugh's review or does the site staff really hate me that much

as far as weapons go the 5mm hand holes have been around a very long time. I know for a fact that claascis voyager optimus prime can hold powermasters OP's black rifles...and in all honesty most transformers do have the 5mm hands and the gun posts are universally made to fit that.

That's true but I think he's more surprised at the fact that his hands can hold something at all. I'll admit, when I first saw the pics of Perceptor's hands, I thought that he wasn't able to hold much. They seemed much narrower than that of the other open-handed TFs that have been shown to hold 5mm pegged weapons. It would be neat if future engineering and sufficient funds on Hasbro/Takara's part will give us some standardized articulated yet durable hands, much like Gundam hands.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's the big black thing that's front-and-center in the first shot of this video?

it's called 'Mascot'(not sure the real name) He is in the beginning of every episode normally with a funny quip or something. For the best one watch the PCC Double Clutch and Rallybots video. He is made from bioncle characters with transformers stickers

I honestly think the only reason we got boomboxes, a microscope, and a camera back in the G1 days was that at the time there just weren't that many transforming toys OUT there for them to co-opt INTO Transformers.
As for the thing front and center, that looks like a Bionicle with Decepticon stickers on it...

Hey lay off Ejector, he's one of my favorites. Also amazed that nobody has mentioned ROTF Scalpel, I thought he was a neat little microscope & his bug mode is fun.
Perceptor is a WIN for sure, can't wait to get my hands on him. Never watching another Emgo review again though, they give me headaches.

I was completely ignoring the random movieline junk and instead focusing on the new CHUG stuff, in which perceptor's new mode fits much better.

The Classics Henkei Universe Generations acronym is horrible. I personally hope they stop calling Generations by the name & pick up the Reveal The Sheild. That way I can stop reading CHUG & start seeing CHURTS which is way more fun to say & much less...well you know.
