"Legends Ratbat" and "Legends Frenzy" don't look official to me, more like customs or first prototypes.

Dammit, they always cancel THE coolest sculpts. Grax riding Skullcruncher has to be the cutest thing in the whole Heroes line, and an official toy of Circuit-Breaker?!? That is freakin'...highly suspect since Marvel still owns the rights to her, not Hasbro. Put her in a vs. pack with Robot Master and kids would still buy it, despite having no idea who they were.
I agree that Ratbat looks more like something from Jizai toys, but I'd still consider him and Frenzy possibly legit.
Well if they're canceled, you know the drill: properly dispose of the molds by handing them over to a trusted friend who lives near a Hobby Lobby and has over $60.00 to spare...

OMG! I absolutely LOVE that Skullcruncher and Grax! What a shame. That is an excellent pose.
Hopefully now that this has been brought to light somebody will make that.
I just got me a G1 Skullcruncher around a month ago and he's one of my fave's.
What makes me like that photo is it looks like a M.U.S.C.L.E figure. Which i have a couple few of and really liked as a kid.

HA! Skullcruncher is "cute".
Those two words together makes me laugh

I agree they look like 3rd party TF toys.

NOOO, FRENZY AND RATBAT WERE SO COOL!
If they were real, not sure, if they are, they look pretty early stage.

For everyone who says Frenzy/Ratbat aren't official - isn't it just likely that these are the very early stages of prototyping? When the designer is working out the basic shapes and transformation using chunks of polystyrene or something - but way before any detail or real sculpting is applied.
I like the idea of Ratbat with both a robot and bat mode.
And damn, Skullcruncher is brilliant

. The detail on Sam is quite impressive too.
Glad we got a chance to see these.

Darn, I would have liked that Sam figure (and wanted a Mikaela) to go with my TFs as a display piece.
I don't like Robot Heroes at all but Circuit Breaker has me interested even just for my love of the old Marvel TF comics and how it even got to that stage with the license issues.

To bad Ratbat looks like it could have been awesome & Scourge is already awesome. They should bring back the small titaniums i thought they were pretty cool.

Haha, nice quick work on the animation there. What do you use to do that stuff? I've always been interested but never got around to trying it.

I have Photoshop CS4, if you have it, go to Window > Animation, and you can turn layers into frames, and then bash it out as an animated gif with Save for Web, pretty simple when you know what you are doing, although, I hadn't done an animated gif in quite some years, CS4 is a bit different than ImageReady was back in the day (that's where I first came into contact with creating animated gifs), it looks like most of ImageReadys functionality has made its way into Photoshop nowadays!
I can send you the PSD if you want, PM me if you're curious!

Ahhh cool. I think I have CS3 at home, I'll check if that can do something similar after work. Cheers!

More than likely any real issue would be moot since Hasbro produces the Marvel figure line. All they would have to do is stick her in a Marvel package instead of a TF one and bang.

Damn! Figurines of the headmaster beasts in animal mode with their partner riding on them would of been helluva awesome. I remember how the commercials touted them as 'the trainer of the beast becomes the head of the robot!' so it fits.

I'm disappointed that Frenzy was never produced. I had assumed he was too difficult/expensive for them to even bother, but not only have they attempted it, they did a rather nice job at it.
He would've made a kick-ass partner with HA Barricade.

Wished the sam that came with HA BB looked like that, then it would have been a serious buy

Skullcruncher is brilliant, and the rest look pretty decent. Scourge seems like he should be saying "Please, Galvatron, let me pet this kitty, it looks so soft."
