Found the whole Ruination set at Walmart. I was sure that these would pull a Skyquake and never be in stores or for a reasonable price online, so I snagged them in case.

Still in the packaging with the receipt until I can confirm my suspicions.

FOC deluxes OP & Sideswipe; that big gun of Sideswipe is perfect for upgrading another figure (either an OP or HA Leadfoot)

I didn't get much for my birthday yesterday because of financial issues, but what I got is just enough! I picked up Generations Blitzwing last night, ordered Classics Voyager Optimus Prime for a sweet deal on Amazon (should be here in less than a week; can't wait! :KREMZEEK: ), Prime: Robots in Disguise Wheeljack (the oddball of the group), and I plan to order Generations Springer tonight!

Images to come, once I get both Springer and Optimus for a group shot! ;)

Got Sandstorm this week (already have Springer) I love him. I just love those giant wheels on him.

I haven't checked my mail yet (at work right now, shhhhhhh), But I think the Wreckers I ordered arrived today.

At one time, I vowed Twin Twist was going to be the last addition, but then I saw what was coming and well that's not going to happen. I have to get Skids and the rest of the Prime Terrorcons.

Blitzwing is so frustrating. He's one of my favorate characters and there's a lot the toy does right, but then there's a lot of stuff it screws up that didn't need to be screwed up if they would've just spend a little more time on the QC.

I still like taking him out to pose him. He looks so cool.

Agreed. I've followed YouTube user GIJOE75's little guide in fixing his shoulders. I still have to sand his screw holes down some more, but they're much closer to the tabs they were supposed to hook on to than when I first busted him open from his package. His hips are a little looser than I'd like them to be, but aren't at the point where they're an issue. Besides the obvious shoulders part, my only real issue is that in tank mode, the left leg's tread assembly doesn't want to plug into the torso like it's supposed to, giving it a little unevenness on the ground. It's not really noticeable, though.

I'm so tempted to try to fix the shoulders but I already had to buy a second Kickback after an attempt to fix an issue made it even worse.

The things that bother my are the nosecone where I'm afraid the soft plastic will eventually rip and no longer attach to the jet mode at all, and the fact that the cockpit has almost no clearance underneath in tank mode. I'm scared of scuffing it up.

The tank treads don't really give me any trouble thankfully, nor does the face swapping feature, at least not as much as some people were stuck with. The thing is that these problems weren't engineering impossibilities. All of these glitches could've been easily fixed had the designers sat down with the toy and checked it a little bit.

I was fiddling with my Generations Wreckers yesterday. I think there's a bit of a missed opportunity with Twin Twist. He has that gap in the front of his tank mode and even has the hands with the 5mm holes on each side.

They could've molded his twin drill gun to slot right in there so his drills would've been on the front of the tank instead of on top where they're not very useful.

I tried sticking the drills in there as is but they really can't attach in a meaningful way. :-(

My July/August haul has been the following:

All five Generations Wreckers (got them for $7 a piece due to a shelf tag error. The toys themselves are a little disappointing since the weapons are loose in their hands and don't combine for Ruination to use. Also, besides Impactor, the weapons don't really work well in vehicle mode)

Crock-Out (kinda disappointed with him)

Year of the Snake Omega Supreme (I figured out a base mode for him, I like it better than the claw train, I may try to figure out a way to make the lower leg of the train side disconnect to simulate the train/tank from the original)

TF Prime Terrorcons (My Blight has two left bot-mode legs, so his leg form is a little unstable. I may have to exchange him if I find another)

Legends Megatron and Starscream are inbound from HTS

Generations Sandstorm (I REALLY like this guy, it feels like a totally different toy than Springer)

I am currently waiting for my Metroplex that is on backorder and IDW Megatron to show up on shelves. I don't know if I will get Orion Pax, but the other two will be purchased in their repaint forms.

I cannot AGREE more!! It feels like a totally different transformer. :)

Anyways, I got a pretty nice haul this week, got home yesterday and found 2 big packages on my porch! In them was my Metroplex, Generations Orion Pax, Trailbreaker, Bumblebee, and Megatron, and in the other was Generation Sandstorm, Prime Starscream, and Prime Weaponizer Optimus. Then today I go to Toys'R'us and who do i find but Masterpiece Soundwave! I jumped on that (almost literally!) And, unlike some unlucky few, the box for soundwave is near mint, no crumpling from being tied onto the pallet!

I would like to point out that Hasbro Toy Shop has all 3 of the generations triple changers (have to sort through the pages under "view all" to find sandstorm, though, he doesn't show up otherwise) for 19.99 while a few other online retailers have them from 25-30$! And if everyone here is as crazy as me, then you probably spend enough online to get the free shipping anyways! Point of the matter is, shop around and don't impulse buy! 8)

Got Sharkticon Megatron and Skylynx Friday. Nothing special with either.

Got Megatron with Chop Shop and Starscream with Waspinator from HTS today.

I really like both of these, but when displaying them with Optimus and Bumblebee, I noticed a few things that may or may not be known. Optimus can combine with Roller in vehicle mode. The tabs coming out of Roller's front connect into the slots in the bottom of Prime's legs/back end. It makes a trailer of sorts for Prime. You can also lock Blazemaster's rotors by pressing down slightly on them. Obviously, it was known Chop Shop connects to Megatron's tank mode. No secrets discovered on Starscream...yet.

Can't wait for Metroplex later this week.

TFWiki also made mention to this. Thought it was pretty neat, but I plan to shoehorn Roller in with my Classics Optimus Prime as extra armament and as a cute little partner. I wouldn't necessarily call it a trailer, but it is rather nifty.

Got Metroplex from Amazon today. Man is he huge. I almost broke off one of the bottoms of his feet when transforming him into robot mode because I forgot to fold them up, so be careful when you transform him to make sure all the parts are where they need to be. The head is really bothersome to me. For one thing, his visor does not rotate like it should, and nearly every time I transform him the helmet pops off a little.
