As much as I'd love to see a Generations Devastator, it'll probably never happen. Hasbro already crapped out on him with the Classics repaint. I also can't see them doing a Predaking since Takara is releasing the 2010 version this month. Hopefully Computron, or at least the Technobots in general, will get some love. I love me some Technobots!

How about maybe an...
ULTRA MAGNUS? C'mon Hasbro you know you want to!

I'm hoping to see DotM figures. Aside from that, there are some figures I really want released in Generations/RtS, most of which I've mentioned in other threads. I agree that an Ultra Magnus would be really great, at least for those of us (like me) who can't afford the FansProject armour.

Toy Fair will probably show DOTM and Transformers: Prime toys.. maybe a couple more Generations depending on how long the line is going to last.

They
ARE making Prime toys? Cool! I heard rumors that there would be none, but I still doubted that. And do you just mean the current "Generations" deluxe class line...or are you including Reveal the Shield also?
And I am so hyped for DOTM I can barely contain myself!!!!

According to TFWiki, "the show's products would be hitting the shelf in October 2011." I assume this means figures based on it. I'm personally really hoping for a Bulkhead figure. I really love his design. Megatron could have some potential too, at least if he's a leader class figure, and I'd really like a figure of one of the drones that turns into this Batmobile-like car:

I'm hoping that aside from the more Movie-like Megatron, these figures will be able to fit in with the Classics figures pretty well. However, if it is true that the toys will be coming out in October, I kind of doubt that we'd see pictures of them at Toy Fair. I wouldn't expect them until BotCon.

No. no. no. Toy Fair is around the world in February. Toys shown there would be released way before October. This year had Generations and PCC, stuff that was released in May/June. In '09 it was ROTF and some Animated, which was released in June as well.
DOTM toys should be available for the first time at Botcon '11. Not sure on the ETA of Transformers: Prime toys but it should be along the same lines.. although I'm sure we'll be seeing some leaks of them before the year ends.

Thanks for clearing up that whole deal. I've been so confused with all fo the random claims coming up.

This annoys me, as I will be at Toy Fair, but we don't order from Hasbro, so we won't be invited. Hasbro's ordering is out of reach of small businesses, so we are out of luck.
As much as I want to see more Generations, I think that the RtS deluxes will pretty much be the end of what we are going to see, as Spring 2011 they will want the full on roll out of DotM.

If you are talking about just the most recent products we've seen, then I would say you're wrong. There's no way one wave of deluxe class and voyager class figures can hold up the brand from January until May 16th with no new products to follow. Lego pulled that stunt at the beginning of this year when they only released a few of what is like an equivilant of the deluxe class in Bionicle. They announced the end of Bionicle in January with those few small sets, with a full "replacement" series that would come six months later. Those same Bionicle figures are still taking up too much room at your local stores. That strategy just doesn't work. We'll see new leaked images popping up soon, trust me.

So we're definitely getting TF: Prime toys? I wonder if I should pick up Animated Bulkhead in anticipation of an homage, since that's my thing.

We don't know for a fact, but we're confident.
I don't know which Bulkhead you want, but if you like his character, go ahead and get whatever version you want. It's good to get ahold of Animated characters you want before they're history. Which means I shouldn't have let Lockdown go today...

Actually I'd stay away from Voyager Bulkhead, QC and Scale fail.

At Botcon, I got the sense that Generations could continue and appear alongside DOTM provided the line does well. If we get an answer on that, we'd find out at Toy Fair. We still don't know what waves/toy lines Frenzy/Rumble, Wheeljack and Black Shadow will fall into.

As far as what I'd hope to see, I could care less about DOTM. Give me more generations. Laser Prime repaint to Nemesis Prime, A ultra Magnus that actually converts with his trailer. A Soundwave that is modernized. WFC Soundwave was great but give me more.

I must be the only one who wants to see Toxitron from that G2 Prime mold.

I was originally going to skip Bulkhead. I didn't actually get to watch Animated, so I can't say how I feel about his character. He looks cool enough, but the main purpose of my collection is G1 Homages so that's why I skipped him. However since they've started to homage later characters like Cybertron Scattorshot and Animated Lockdown & Lugnut, I've decided to pick those up as well. So if we do see TF Prime Bulkhead, that would be amazing. I guess I should keep an eye out for him.
Blurrz wrote:Actually I'd stay away from Voyager Bulkhead, QC and Scale fail.
Thanks for the warning. I'm not too picky about scale, and I'm used to the poor QC on the Seekers, so if he's loose or whatever it won't bother me too much. It's easier for me to fit him on my shelf (and in my budget) if I get a small version anyway. The Leader will take up too much room.

I agree I'd like to see more Reveal the Shield/Generations, but I'm
really excited for the new movie. I'd settle for even just a sneak preview though. I also agree that:
G2 Optimus Prime should be repainted into Nemesis Prime. And he shouldn't be a dumb store exclusive or only available in one country/region.
SOMEONE ELSE KNOWS MY PAIN! Ultra Magnus is too popular to be neglected, and he's overdue for a real G1 throwback figure that combines with the trailer, not one that doesn't have a trailer or one that has the truck and trailer permanently attached as one unit, with no standard robot mode.
AND YES! A modernized G1 Soundwave! Slapping classic line packages over a character from a new continuity doesn't cut it. The WFC figures are all great, but none of them can be excused as replacements for classic characters.

Well remember you are not alone. Most of us want to see Ultra Magnus get a voyager sized G1 accurate figure in this line. No crappy G2 laster Prime repaints thank you, he's too small.
As for Soundwave hell yes!! The WFC figure is ok but I'd really like to see a real Generations figure. I know he and Blaster already got done in the Device label but i don't care! They would be such popular figures if HasTak brought them into Generations.

Man I really want an Ultra Magnus. If I don't my head will explode.

As for Soundwave, I don't think Device Label counts, so screw that. We need a REAL Soundwave Hasbro action figure. Modern G1, just like all the others in the line.

I doubt it will never happen, but since classics/henkei have had 2 megatrons, and now a 3rd in generations, id kill for a voyager (or even deluxe) galvatron in generations/rts. theyve updated lugnut, why not a new, bigger, scary as hell galvatron? i dont even care what continuity it is.
Ive got Galvatron from the CAC 3pk, hes stayed in the box. Got WFC Megatron, but hes deluxe. waiting to get United Megs, but im not a huge fan of the 'wings'. we need a voyager class badass leader.
some g1 decepticon footsoldiers would be nice too, the lower level guys that arent seekers or faction leaders. At the minute my decepticon collection consists of 2x Bruticuses, Megatron, Soundwave, Nemesis Prime, Devastator, Darkmount, 2x cyclonus, the seekers (minus thundercracker and starscream) and now thunderwing. Need some mid level guys, maybe stunticon updates (they already released dragstrip, should buy him really) or blitzwing/sixshot (even without their gimmick features).
Plus a Generations Thundercracker, i think its time for him.
Id love some of the headmasters revived with gimmick intact. A Gens/RTS Nightbeat w/ junior headmaster would be amazing, even if its a pipedream

Hopefully some Micronauts, as Has/Tak is now licensed to make them. In fact, with a movie and/or TV show in the planning (if you believe what you hear) toys are a given. I just hope that Hasbro can do a modern take on Micronauts without ruining it.
