First off, we don't see enough close combat transformers. The fact that he has close combat weapons and that the designers were able to incorperate the holsters properly in robot mode makes me feel really hopeful for the future of tformer toys in general.
This is one figure that Hasbro will almost certainly repaint in future lines.
I want to repaint it, but I am not sure who to repaint it as.

Hey, I'm with you on Wreckage, and especially the close-combat thing. Really in the past few transformers series, there haven't been many CC characters. Sure, there's Starscream who uses his wings as blades, and some transformers who use the Star/Energon Saber, but Wreckage pretty much takes it to a new level.

Totally with you. Just wish his automorph didn't mess up his arm movement, but im sure we've heard enough about it He's so menacing and evil, yet calculating and able.

Other than the flaw you mentioned he is an awesome addition to the TF universe.
