Blurr or Drift?

I don't usually by 2 figures of the same basic mold, however as has been stated by many the Drift/Blurr mold is one of the best to come across in a while. I bought Drift as soon as I saw him, and last week I decided to go ahead and get Blurr. They are both awesome figures, and I don't feel like I paid double money or the same toy. Very impressive on both ends. Do you have a preferance between the two? (Toys, not necessarily the characters)

I don't like Blur's head sculpt and don't think it's sleek enough for the character so I prefer Drift. I just wish he had a gun as well as swords!

both, as they only cost $9 each. aren't that big figures that take up collection storage/display space. they both have enough retooled parts, added weapons & totally different color schemes to make them different & unique from each other.

I only have Drift right now, but I'm planning to get Blurr once I can find him. I think that Drift looks better, since I prefer the colour scheme and the Japanese character on the door, and I also love sword-bots. I think Blurr looks really good too, just not as good as Drift.

lol, agreed!
Seriously though, if I had to choose between the two (I did not), I would pick Blurr. His color scheme is much more interesting, I actually like the head mold, and the sniper rifle is badass. Awesome!

I don't have either (yet), but I would definitely just say screw it and go for both. They are both rather unique for sharing the same mold, and I was surprised HasTak did a fair amount of retooling with Blurr (new weapons, head, and even rear spoiler). They both look equally great to me.

I have Drift, and it's a solid mold. But if I were to pick one, I'd buy Blurr. I like his character better, I have a couple other Blurrs, and guns > swords any day of the week. YMMV.

I agree. I have both. I like seeing them stand side by side.

His arms are a pain in the ass to pose with the gun when his shoulders are like that.

Speaking of The Boss, this mold really,
really needs to be retooled as Turbomaster Boss. Just saying.

I prefer Drift at this point. That will possibly change if I come across a Blurr with a good paint job. Every single one I have found (and there is always JUST ONE) has massive paint flaws.

Both. This is one of the few time I buy repaints/retools. The only other time was ROTF Ironhide and Recon Ironhide. I feel that these 2 retools are worth the money.

I prefer posing him with the shoulders down more towards the back, and Drift's straight backwards. Blurr's doors go up towards the back, they look like fins or something. Makes him look fast.

If you had to choose, Go with blurr. What an amazing figure.

I did that before, too and it looked nice also. But what I am really trying to do is to make his head look better fit with the body (in another word, smaller) and that high shoulder and high heel mode kind of does that.

Hmm, I guess so. I personally don't mind the big noggin'.

Yeah. I like that the heads look like helmets. It seems to fit the characters to me.

I prefer Drift because although Blurr is the best remdition since G1 he's still not G1 and this alt mode just doesn't say "Blurr" to me. I bought them both anyway.

I hesitated when I first heard about a Blurr toy, because I was actually really satisfied with Animated Blurr.
But I really REALLY love this new Blurr.
As for which you should choose, there should be no choice. Both or GTFO. And if that fabulous mold is used for anything else ever again, you should buy it yet again.
