Sorry, but that grey is just WAY too dark for Megatron. I'll take his Generations incarnation any day over the United version. I'm also not digging United Straxus. Not enough red.

i dnt really see the big deal about the minicons. they are a waste of money, i can just put my pcc minicons on and call them target masters. thats what they are doing anyways.

Wow! Not to sidestep the WFC Megatron, but we get some new looks at MP Rodimus, including the Matrix in chest and the method for combining Hot Rod car and Rodimus Prime Camper. Plus, I don't know Japanese, but is that his arm saw? (Why am I fixated on something that existed for three and a half seconds? :???: )

Pssst. Hasbro. Can we get the Targetmasters here in the US?

Beige huh? Kinda odd, but it works I guess. I'm expecting some baw over Soundwave's lack of yellow. Gun Megatron looks a bit better now that I see the added paint applications on the gun shell as well as the insignias, which I understand may bit a bit weird to some since he has molded insignias on the scope, but from my experience the entire scope/gun section doesn't take well to paint aps. Overall still pretty plain looking though, so unless I get yet more paint degradation on my henkei version I'll pass.

Also, they're still releasing cards for those arcade games?

These all look pretty good, but aside from Highbrow I'm glad I'm passing on all these because most of them share the overly-metallic look of Animated. Not to mention they're expensive. Oh yeah, and I just noticed no gold on Soundwave's chest. I wish I could afford Highbrow, but the US one is almost as good anyway.

That grey on WFC Megatron is very dark indeed. But he looks like such a badass. I've got to get him and Optimus. The shiny paint I think really highlights the fact that they're from a metallic world.

I'm not too thrilled about all the red on Henkei Megatron, but the United version does look very dull. Haven't a clue which one to go for. I also agree that the lack of red on Straxus isn't that grand. He looks like Little Boy Blue in a bad mood.

And as for MP-09... Am I mistaken, or is that the circular saw AND his welding torch in the same arm?? That's progress right there.

We have seen United WFC Megatron before, but this is the best picture so far with the legs colored properly.

WolfDawg wrote:Sorry, but that grey is just WAY too dark for Megatron. I'll take his Generations incarnation any day over the United version. I'm also not digging United Straxus. Not enough red.

It matches how he looks in the game, and Straxus was pretty devoid of red at times.

Nah, that'd stink. Targetmasters need to be solid.

This is all things we've seen for Rodimus before due to the scans of Generations 2010.

You're not going to get the Targetmasters here because they're still linked to the larger figures. Takara has no problem throwing away or recycling those parts (as they did it for Minicons in the past) but Hasbro has never done anything like that before.

Nah, he's dark gray.

Soundwave does look so bland without the little gold highlight on his chest. Maybe I'm just used to my Generations version.

Sorry, felt like starting a chant. Seriously, whats up MP Rodimus' trailer, man? We're talking $200+ plus shipping! All the more reason to wait for Hasbro's iteration. Out of the scans, I'll contemplate the acquisition of United Goldbug... on clearance... maybe... with free shipping... actually... scratch that...

okay so Rodimus Prime is just a shell. That is disappointing. It looked like he was going to be a triple changer before.

Rodimus Im liking more and more I see him. The matrix( which looks great), saw blade, welder and head change mechanisms look fantastic. So the trailer is a bit of a shellformer, it takes its idea straight from the original. Just be thankful Takara is giving fans these things that people have been asking for for years. Transformers fans seem to be the second most ungreatful fan base in existance after Star Wars.

The United version of the missle carrier is a definate improvement over the US/Europe version.

Im liking WFC Megatron as he is more game accurate being that dirty worn in colour is fitting. Considering how lots of people belly ache about acuracy im suprised more people aren't excited about this colour scheme.

As for those Minicons, they are store exclusives you get them for free if you buy enough United products at certain stores on certain days so will be VERY expensive on the secondary market.

Its about time they showed how the car mode changes on MP Hot Rod/Rodimus. Im diggin it. I might actually buy a megatron if they ever make a version without the stupid red.

lol. You know, that's a very good point. I've been debating it myself, but I think if I do pass on Rodimus Prime, I'll regret it. I still wish I had Convoy's trailer. Of course, I bought mine before MP-04 even came out, but still. Wish I had it.

Man, WFC Meg's colors are way off. I dunno, maybe it's just the lighting?

So they did reference the opening CG for the metal plates on OP's chest, huh? Black instead of metallic silver.

IMO, horrible color choices. Glad I bought my Hasbro's instead of waiting for TakTomy.

In any case, I'm glad they actually decided to make use of all those 5mm pegs all over OP's bot mode. Too bad those Targetmasters won't come with OP, though.

Rodimus - This is the first time I'd seen some of these things in the news threads. SO, for those of us that don't frequent the forums too much, this is new. :)

Targetmasters - Did you mean that the Targetmasters are still attached to the PCC being sold here in the US? I didn't recognize them until I opened my Icepick. So, I see what you mean. I bet I could have some fun with some silver Sharpie and make my own.

If you think SW and TF fans are ungrateful, I suggest you stay away from Games Workshop fans. GW can't do anything without people complaining about prices/business practices/the fact that they could care less about their fans, regardless of how relevant it is to the actual discussion.

Seriously, it's like every single person on GW fan sites think they're suffering some sort of gamer variety of beaten wife or stockholm syndrome.

OT, wish I could afford MP Roddy. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait until summer of '11.

LOL Midnight_Fox.. for being in the middle of that fandom between the ages of 11-14, It was very, very negative. I'm still pissed I spent hundreds on Fantasy/40k when I could have completed RID and Energon instead.

And... I want that Straxus so bad.
