Is there plans to release a trailer later, or are they just making things easy for a third party?

I do still like the figure overall, though.

The trailer hitch forms his sword in robot mode.

Ah. Well, that's good. I still don't see what the rounded cup part on his back is for, though. It looks like it can split down the middle and fold open. But I can't seem to picture what that would form.

That I don't know.

I think a 3rd party trailer would greatly improve the value of that figure. It is a nice looking mold but as most people as said, slightly disappointing compared to the original. It would also be really cool to have a classics style deluxe prime with a trailer.

No not the G1 one, the RID one:

They better give him RED eyes!

lol! AGREED. I want that repaint so hard. Laser Prime here, not so much.

They often put redundant hitches on Primes. ROTF Leader Prime has a very detailed one. Unless they're going to majorly suprise us with DOTM and offer a trailer, it's pretty useless.

Oh whoops, forgot to comment on the topic. I am all over that Scourge like red on Prime. Bring it!

I think Scourge looks fantastic, I will not hesitate on picking him.

I will wait for the inevitable repaint of Laser Prime to RID Scourge before I buy this mold.

I have no idea why there are only flames on half of Primes front. :-?

looks like Scourge can hold Universe Nightstick so I'll definitely get another for him. Still would like to see pics next to his buddies lol

So I take it your not a fan of the live action movies. That's fine. I don't really care what paint apps he has, as long as his packaging has the words TRANSFORMERS, OPTIMUS PRIME, MEGATRON, all that kinda stuff and he looks like what he is supposed to look like. And that he isn't a KO, and made by Hasbro. ;)

I think Scourge's robot mode is a contender for best robot mode in the entire Generations/United line. :CON:

I agree with Munkimus a RID Scourge repaint off Prime would be awesome.

I am kind off sad that Scourge didn't come with Fracus guess Cyclonus was the only one who did but still Scourge is pure Win.

Optimus looks awesome but why is only one off his sides painted with flames I will buy him regardless

These look so sweet! Gotta get them both.

And to those of you who want an RID "Scourge", we'll probably end up getting a "Nemesis Prime" because the two characters are very different and Hasbro and Takara wouldn't want to release two characters of the same name in the same class in the same toyline.

Does this stem from G1 Rodimus Prime by any chance?

I'm getting both, naturally, but Scourge is higher priority.

That's why I'm hoping for a RID Scourge styled repaint. I mean, we've got black Prime repaints for that last several years just to have them. I'd be pretty dissapointed if they chose not to use it for the remake of the figure that started it all.

That part is not supposed to be on the back. They are supposed to be on the sides which covers his hands. It is mistransformed in those pics.

It should be like this:

That is some great articulation but he looks strange holding the sword over his head like that with the front halfs of the truck facing forward. Just doesn't look right.

That G2 Optimus is SO getting repainted by Hasbro as Ultra Magnus.
I would be pleased but he's a tiny deluxe so no chance I'll get it. This figure should be at least Voyager sized. :BOT:

Ok, I'll be the one to say it. If I didn't already know this was an official product, I would think it was a Chinese KO, at most another companies transforming robot. I refuse to believe that this KO looking, $3 style bot is an official product from Hasbro. Articulation may look good but I don't think it will look good with my other Classicverse bots. There is no flow with the paint job in vehicle mode either. It is like movie Prime sexually assualted Classics Prime and this was the mutated offspring. Totally easy pass for me.
