If the toy was rereleased with a thigh swivel, and better transformation joints around the shoulders and the head, I will buy twenty.
This mold is what started my post youth TF collection. I'd love to see this figure enlarged to voyager size. Get rid of the powerlink ability and just have him transform into a properly proportioned update of Rodimus Prime. The "hot rod" truck was a great idea, and taken into the Classics concept it would be Classics Hot Rod's natural leader evolutionary form. My favorite part of Energon Rodimus is that his fists swap with his boosters, so in bot mode he can transform his hands into guns. I have no issue with the spoiler on his forearms, but they need to add a joint at the arm to allow the spoiler to fold out to the side to make it look like a small wing.

I agree. Galvatron should have been voyager, and looks to have initially been designed to be voyager. At that size he could have had actual missiles on his backpack instead of molded ones, and the backpack could look more like a jet pack with additional weapons built in. Could have been very nice.

Totally agree.

I would gladly pick up a voyager WFC Megatron. I'd also pick up WFC Prime if he was voyager class as well. I have no issue with the smaller toy at a cheaper price point, but the price difference between deluxe and voyager is not all that much, especially when the characters are leaders. I don't collect anything larger than voyager more due to being too big than expense as we have all seen some great sales on larger classes.
Optimum Supreme wrote:Since we're getting a new G2 OP, seems like we should get a new G2 Megs, as well. Base it on the green tank, then they can always redeco it as the purple tank down the road. Of course then there'd be a convention exclusive "Reverse Convoy" blue w/remolded head version.
But G2 Prime is deluxe. The mold makes no sense at that size. If he was voyager, I'd gladly buy the hopefully better repaint on sight. At that size he could also have a rifle to go along with the sword. A Megatron tank would be nice since Classics Megatron does nothing for me. They messed up Galvatron. They messed up Classics Megatron. And they made WFC Megatron too small.
Windsweeper wrote:Classics Astrotrain, Tankor/ Octane and Movie Bonecrusher should all be smaller.
Don't you mean bigger?

Like voyager? I think they would have worked at that size very nicely.
Generations Scourge. Terrible alt mode, stupid looking black beard though beards on robots are ridiculous anyway and crappy wings. A larger, plastic version of Titanium Scourge would be nice..
Totally disagree here. I've never been a fan of the "space canoe."
How about a decent size Motormaster who can face off against an Optimus Prime whose not a Legend or an Actionmaster?
I'd love a Motormaster, but I think they need to make a new mold for him to do it right.
Skullgrin and Bludgeon and not have them being crappy bot/shell hybrids. IDW ruined Pretenders! and Hasbro have used their idea to be lazy.
I haven't read any comics so I don't know what IDW did to Pretenders. I did watch Masterforce, and I think that's the only way Pretenders works. As shells would add a lot to the cost, I'd rather have nice Transformers with cool alts rather than tiny ones that look like malformed humanoids (most of the PCC minicons come to mind).
Star Wars Transformers with actual TF style heads. G1 not movie style.
Robot heads that capture the SW character instead of the character's head on a robot body would look much nicer.

That's one reason I have yet to collect any SWTF's. They look weird to me, and not in a good way.
