Hmm, none of the NewsMods seemed to notice when I sent them this information over Seibertron e-mail. Anyway, s250 updated his thread on tw2005 and revealed that he's heard Starscream is definitely gonna be a US release!

Clicky.

Here's hoping that this comes true, and he'll be in the $30 price range.

What was reported was the possibility of a US release. This is a confirmation of a US release. :P

Ah, but he's closer is size to an Alternator. Thus my optimism that he'll be priced more reasonably.

I don't know about confirmation, I'd consider Hasbro to be the authority on that!

I am guessing it will get released in the $49.99 range. That's even less than retail in Japan (between 8,000 and 10,000 yen). I'd pay 50 bucks for another MP Screamer.

wait

I will wait until Skywarp is released, if this goes well perhaps they will put the other 2 out.

Actually, this one I'd pay the $89 bucks for, the Japanese Grey one...not so much.

Hmm, not what do I do with my Japanese one?

Good news though. I hope the don't go overboard with the battle damage in the fial version.

WTG Hasbro.

Don't get to say that much, especially being a movie toy hater ;-)

I think I paid 55 for my Japanese version, so I don't feel so bad about it. It's a nice figure...just not what I was expecting. I imagine this will see a Takara release as MP-08 (or MP-09 if they do Ultimate BB as MP-08).

For that price I might even get 2 so I can keep one minty fresh.

S250 is the next best thing to confirmation from Hasbro itself. He has always been reliable in the past. I bought he was sayin' the first time around. I'd be more than willing to drop a fifty on this guy. This is certainly why I waited on the mold. Although I was real close to biting the bullet on the Takara release. Real close.

figures, just bought my mp-3 screamer a month ago. but i guess you can never have too many starscreams? besides, this one will probably be easier to get ahold of.

I hope this happens because I passed on MP Screamer due to both colors and cost.

Yeah, as Botcon Exclusives next year...
Thumbs up to Hasbro if this is real. I just hope there aren't any downgrades in quality.

Well, if this is true, I'm definitely keeping my MP-03 in jet mode (looks better to me in that mode).

I just hope they ease up on some of the tolerances and use a sturdier plastic. I feel like everything's gonna pop off or snap on MP-03 every time I try and transform him.

Fingers crossed this version comes with shoulder pads, a cape and a little ruby studded crown.

I want me some "bad comedy"... my wallet gaps in anticipation.

Has a rough release date been given?

I hope this is true. I don't import so I didn't get the original.
