so I've caught the 1st couple episodes of TF: Prime & like what I see so far, but I haven't seen any posts about any toys coming out of this series yet.... one part of me looks at the characters & their lankiness & pointiness & thinks, how could they make workable figures out of these? but i also thought the same thing about TF Animated & was pleasantly surprised by the figures that came out of that series... have I missed any news posts about TF: Prime figs?

The figures may be in the works, but they won't be revealed until Transformers: Prime hits its proper first season next year. The 5-part mini-series is more of a test than anything else. In the mean time, the WFC toys can serve as stand-ins as Prime is in the same continuity, but not really the same timeline.

Hasbro originally stated there'd be no toys initially for TF: Prime
there's probably not going to be any toys until after the 3rd movie and it's Toys have been around the block.

Rumor has it they will pop up next year.

WE DO NOT KNOW FOR CERTAIN THOUGH. So, I wouldn't bother asking over and over until you hear something. I tried that before but people just got annoyed with me. :P With TF, if you can't find an answer about future products, there is no official answer yet. If someone hears something and can confirm it, it will be posted in the news. Just be patient. Let's enjoy HftD, Generations, RtS, and DotM in the meantime.

Nothing wrong with people asking questions. Don't like 'em? Don't read 'em.

Yeah I should rephrase that.

For the last time, there won't be any. If Elita-1 had had her own mold, then maybe.

combining the motorcyles is easy, just takes a propane torch, a pint of epoxy, & some duct tape :D

So, they don't combine? I'm confused.

the only info i ever saw about the motorcycles combining was concept art for RotF, myself... i've passed on these bike-bots mainly becuase i don't like the single-wheel-as-a-foot aesthetic... i never heard official word that they'd ever combine, but i could've missed somehting.... :-?

Apparently according to this forum you aren't the only one who hasn't heard the news.

It was either last week or early this week that we got a response from Hasbro stating that Arcee, Chromia, AND ELITA-1 do in fact combine, and they are supposed to combine. They also said there were no further details or instructions given originally basically because they were very busy working on new projects (TF 2010/2011 line and perhaps DOTM). They will try to release instructions to combine them in the near future.

bugger, now i'm in a real quandry... i really dislike those movie version bike-bots (the bikes are cool but i don't like the unicycle-foot deal), but i'm a sucker for gestalts, & would make an exception for them... found a youtube video of someone who thinks they've kinda tinkered it out, but even he wasn't positive he had it right... you'd think if all the molds were already out it would be easy to just get out the (de)structions ;)

Actually they said it months ago.

Thanks for playing.

Yeah I feel the same way. I was going to just get the legends classes, then they do this (and I'm a real sucker for buying all the "main" scales of the movie cast). We'll see if Hasbro releases further details though. Unfortunately, the same question probably won't go away until they tell us how to do it...
Hey I have a novel idea! Let's make a forum about combining Arcee, Chromia, and Elita-1!
