Weak Combination Joints on PCC Stakeout?

I have PCC Smolder, and he is an awesome toy. All 3 modes are awesome, but whenever I combine him with some drones, the left shoulder really flops. I wanna know if Stakeout has the same problem.

Sounds like the screw isn't tight enough. What may also help: in the front of the shoulders there's a notch that the arms can rest in. I'm more worried about the combination arm joints of my Icepick.

I had bought Double Clutch and I had all kinds of problems with his combination besides weak joints. I don't plan on buying anymore PCC. It just seems to me that they would probably all have problems, plus I'm just too big a fan of the regular combiners.

Okay, so far most of the ones released in 2-packs are actually pretty good. Doubleclutch just happpens to be the biggest pile of garbage in the line. Right behind him is the jet from the Aerialbots, and the Combaticon torso is behind him (though only for a horrid vehicle mode).

On the other hand, the Huffer mold is awesome, the dual-rotor copter mold and the fire truck mold are pretty durn good, and the monster truck isn't too bad. And that's speaking of them as "slightly larger than normal Scouts", not as "Combiner torsoes".

I happen to have Huffer under the tree right now, so I'll try him out with the drones that came with Double Clutch. What about the Dinobots? I really want him, but don't wanna pay the money if I'm going to have the same problem.....

Funny how no one who's posted here actually owns Stakeout.

I own him, as well as Smolder. No problems with mine.
