I came across a Headmasters Set on eBay and wasn't sure what to make of it. Is it a KO or a legit reissue. If it is a reissue, when did it come out?

It's a KO set. I bought it a few months ago from a guy on ioffer. They are really nice high quality alternatives to the high priced real deals. They only lack the Takara stamps, everything else is damn near perfect.

This ioffer site seems to be pretty good. Am I right to think that all the TFs on their site are KOs unless noted otherwise?
Have you bought anything else from them other than the headmaster set? If so what and whats the quality? Some items sold there seem to be nice alternatives to the real deal.

Thanks for the info. They seem expensive even for KO.

It works out about $10 per figure. Considering some of the originals go for hundreds of dollars it's not too bad. From what I have heard it is hard to tell the difference between the KO and originals.

I don't have the original Japanese Exclusive heads to compare them to, but comparing my G1 Scorponok head to the KO there is hardly any difference. They lack the Takara stamps, but that's about it. I don't normally buy KO's, in fact these are the only ones I own, but these are excellent. It worked out well, because while I find the Japanese heads interesting I don't want them enough to ever pay the prices they command. I gladly paid $10 a piece for these though.
