New Images of Autobot Alliance Highbrow, Tomahawk, Hailstorm and Terradive

More variants! Takara keeps ushering out their movie-based toy line, Transformers Autobot Alliance, and we've got picture of these figures courtesy of Alfes 2010. AA-11 Highbrow features is near identical to Hasbro's, but features darker teal on the plane's bottom. AA-12 Tomahawk isn't much different either, except featuring brighter grey than Hasbro's version. On the other hand, AA-14 Terradive features red wings, brighter orange plastic and a blue-tipped trident. The variant with the biggest difference is AA-13 Hailstorm, with a navy green deco, darker grey plastic and black instead of brown treads. ya know, i actually like the more sunstorm like paint job on the US Terradive. the others just seem to have darker plastic in areas

I think I'll be getting Hailstorm. Those colours are just too nice to pass up. The rest aren't worth it IMO.

I like the darker colors of Highbrow, but I already have my Hasbro version, and the Takara ones are too expensive anyway. I'm surprised they didn't add more paint apps, actually. There are a lot of small details that could use some paint.

In my opinion, difference in either brighter or darker colors doesnt justify me buying these figures first time around or twice with a higher price tag!
Highbrow is meh
Tomahawk is meh
Hailstorm is questionable but he is too short or very small for a deluxe.
Terradive i like, but i like the white on his wings, instead of the orange, but ill take the blue tipped trident though.

I like the colors on that version of Hailstorm better, but not enough to put the money into the cost of importing it.
I also laughed at seeing LEGO road plates used as scenery. They're just about the right size for it too!

I agree with you Mkall... I already like the Hasbro-version, but the Takara version's darker color (instead of "Gamesworkshop gray" or "stock plastic gray") are really nice on his arms, plus the darker treads (instead of bronze). Tempting tempting.

Ok.. I have been passing on Terradive but I am SOLD now..
