Why no love for any Monster transformers!

I personally would like to see some remakes of some of the more odd transformers.
Some Terrorcons, Monsterbots,Predacons and Insecticons. Sure vehicles like tanks, jets, cars and trucks are great but step outside of the box a bit and throw out some wild cards please.
They did it back in the day and they should do it again. DAMMIT!
You can't tell me it would be just for collectors either. Kids love monsters too. Not just vehicles.
As a kid i always went for the monsters. Still do.

The last monster released must have been the scourge repaint bruticus and my son love that one. He use it to harass his sisters my little ponies:P

I agree some classic/generation versions of the G1/RID/beast war monsters would be fun.

Me love some monsterbots!! over the summer i finished piecing together the Terrorcons which is one of favs combiners along with Predaking! Hasbro/Takara should bring back some Terrorcons and Monsterbots in the next line after the Generations is completed.

I would buy some Insecticons. It seems like they are taking the monster-looking guys and giving them vehicular alt modes, while incorporating their monsterness into their robot modes. They did this with Mindwipe and Skullgrin.

Personally, I like that idea. It never made sense to me that robots in disguise would choose to be giant robot-looking insects or monsters. That disguise isn't fooling anyone.

Read the Marvel comic debut of the Decepticon Pretenders. The humans were more concerned with robots than with giant monsters, so they were happy to see the latter. Skullgrin even became a movie star!

Yes. I wish seeing them, too. But not in PCC line.

Whatchu talkin' about Willis? I got my Seacon reissues this year. Just finished Monstructor last week. Picked up Universe Repugnus and Overbite at Botcon 2010 to have Repugnus in my Classics/Henkei display. Completed my Armada Dinobots a few months back. I got love, It just isn't at the forefront of what I'm collecting. I'd kill for some Insecticons and new Sharkticons for Generations though.

I'd love to see the deluxe dinobots make an appearance. They made on, bring on the other three!! Insecticons too. Kickbacks funny G1 voice made me love them.

In classic we got Grimlock, so why not do the other dinobots for the neo-g1 line generation.
As a kid was Snarl the most popular of the dinobots.

The Alligator robots out of the 1986 movie didn't ever get a toy so now with Straxus as toy maybe they can get one also.

I would absolutely love to see new Monsterbots or Terrorcons; though given their general obscurity, I highly doubt they'll ever be made by Hasbro.

Dinobots would be absolutely awesome though.

Mechanical beasts should receive more attention. My favourites are the transmetals, and the G1 beastformers (dinobots, etc...), I could use a lot of new such beasts.

I could go for a classics version of Doublecross. I always thought he was pretty cool.

I got it in my head that the 4th figure in the silhouetted FP teaser line up looks suspiciously like Repugnus to me. Doubt it though.

I'm hoping the FP does not-Apeface and not-Snapdragon at some point. I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

I've made a point of collecting pretty much every animal based g1 transformer - it's the main focus of my collection, but I don't particularly want modern versions of them, I can't explain it really, I guess I think they have a certain charm which would be lost with an update.

Having said that, Masterpiece Grimlock is awesome and I'd love some modern Dinos to go with him - voyager class perhaps.

I'd love to have the rest of the Dinobots and the Seacons and Predacons and Monsterbots in Classics form.

Repugnus needs an update. His character deserves a better, fiercer monster mode.

I'd love some Firecons but Scout size. If the old toys had ball joints on the arms, they would be perfect.

Sinnertwin would be a nice update. All the small Terrorcons as Basics.

Squeezeplay would be nice as well.

I miss the blocky robotic animal look. Not seen too many last few years apart from RM Victory Leo and Device Label Tigatron.

Not a fan of 'organic' beasts like Cybertron Scourge or RID Megatron where the square look is diluted.

One corner of my collection is 'Monstercons'. Hulk, Venom, Grimstone... I love them for their semi-organic monster-like appearance. Updates of the Monsterbots would make a great addition.

I want to see an actual Marvel Transformer crossiver Symbiote Series of TF toys. They take all the characters you remember and they get infected with a symbiote and they're all Venom looking robots with the features from their original molds.

That wouldn't work. The symbionts need organic material as a host. So unless we return to Beast Machines -- and I hope we never do -- there aren't Transformers that Venom could bond to. I suppose he could form a partial bond to a Beast Wars bot... and be dominant only in beast mode. That might be cool. But I wouldn't want a whole line of them, no.
