e-Hobby Autobot 3 Pack - Scrap Heap Revealed!

e-Hobby Japan online store has updated their website with the new images of Scrap Heap of the e-Hobby Exclusive Transformers United Autobot 3-Pack set.

Previously we know that Scrap Heap is a retool of Wreck Gar with a brand new head.
With the new images, we finally get to see how the new head will look like, seems like it is a must have for the collectors to build a Junkion Army.

Just reported this to the news and rumours as well.

That shot of Scraphead on the Wreckgar in bike mode is going to persuade a lot of people to part with $80+ to get this set now.

I'm very tempted by Kup and Scrapheap. The blue Rodimus looks cool but is pointless

You might be right there. I really didn't care about this set until I saw that picture.
On the otherhand, it is a lot of money to pay for 1 out of 3 figures and the Autobots already outnumber the Decepticons.
If I decide to create a Junkion army, I'll buy up loads of Hasbro Wreck-Gars and mod them. With my poor customising skills they'll definately look like they come from a planet of junk.

That's right! The Junkions shouldn't look perfectly sculpted or anything anyway.

I would buy this set for Scrapheap and keep this version of Kup and not bother with the regular Unite/RTS version.
Rodimus would be getting sold on Ebay though.

Who is Scrap Heap? Is that an existing character, or a made-up name? Is this an homage to some other character/figure? Just curious.

He's one of the Junkions from the planet of Junk in the original Transformers animated movie back in 1986.
It's another 2010 tribute figure.

If Henkei Dirge and Thrust are an indicator of anything, then Hasbro will likely bring this mold over to their lineup at some point in the future.

Don't despair! We'll get him eventually.

The head really isn't what I was expecting but I like it. I'll have to wait though before I can think about shelling the money for that pack.

Nice. Ill just wait for Hasbro to pull out the vaseline and release it in the USA. I called it right on the money with Thrust, Dirge, and and Red Alert.

Yeah, that's pretty cool. I may actually pre-order this. At the very least, I'll sell hardly-battle-damaged Kup and definitely sell pointlessly-clear-blue Rodimus on e-bay. Nitpicky completist collectors will most likely come through for me and help me recoup some of that $80 price tag...

*EDIT* Whoa. Just going to pre-order through BBTS, and it's $120! Wrong place to pre-order, I guess... So, do I need to speak Japanese to pre-order this thing for the $80 that everyone's talking about?? :???:

This being an e-hobby release, Hasbro will not be issuing this head swap.
He does look good with Wreck-Gar

Scrapheap was one of the many Junkions seen in the 1986 G1 animated movie. He was not named on screen, nor in any media at the time. His name comes from The Complete Ark book.

I'm probably going to get at least two and try to mod one to look different.

Now if only Fansproject would show us something of their junkion (if they're still doing it).

To anyone ordering this set who doesn't want a random clear blue Hot Rod, I will gladly take it off your hands.

As for Scrapheap, we already know that Wreck Gar is going to get a repaint stateside so I'm not holding my breath for this one. I'm still hoping for a Cy-kill/Oilslick to come out of this.

I am pleased that they are scaled so they can ride each other...(that sounds vaguely kinky). Here's hoping it comes out in the US cuz I am NOT shelling out that kind of money for a two pack (the blue Rodimus doesn't count).

I've hummed and hawed and I think I'm going to stick with BBTS for my Preorder. After shipping vs the PoL it amounts to a 10% markup for guaranteed top of the line customer service.

It's a pass.

Maybe not that one, but I am sure a "Junkion warrior" head of some kind. It's too easy for Hasbro to pass up.

I've never heard of anything that would indicate Hasbro wasn't allowed to sell Scrapheap in the global markets.

Maybe I am wrong but I have never seen Hasbro release anything e-hobby has done.
I could see them maybe selling a repaint with a similar paint scheme though to get their monies worth out of the mold though.

Thrust and Dirge were exclusive to stores in Japan, and considering the wing molds could have been problematic but ultimately weren't, the exclusivity argument is rendered moot.

The thing is, up until now, eHobby has only done repaints, not remolds. I don't know if they got ahold of the second head mold for the figure, or if they've gotten an exclusive remold. Only time will tell.

Looks awesome, but there's no way I'm shelling out the money for this set. I'll wait until Hasbro releases their own version of the mold.
