I want this done by Takara and as accurate to bot mode as possible...

And this:

and this:

a skinny prime that can transform, a Bumblebee that looks like he walked out of the Movie, and a Starscream that looks like that picture!!!

another great choice would be Bonecrusher in Masterpiece!!

Come on Japan, cry out for high end detailed figures of these guys so Takara Tomy will be forced to produce them!!

No, no, no, and NO.

Keep MP G1 please.

Anyway, why would Takara do an MP Bumbles, when they will sell the Ultimate Bumbles Hasbro have produced?

come on man!!!! have you seen the Ultimate bumblebee figure online yet??? its very cheap and in no way near as good as a Masterpiece figure..!!! its like comparing an ultimate robot movable, light up, and sound playing monkey toy to a Perfect Grade Gundam model, there's no comparison!!!

Masterpiece can be for G-1..

I'm talking about making a "Masterpiece Movie" Line up..

MMP-01 Optimus prime, ect.. ect...

Cant see it happen.

Especilly with designs as complex as the movie designs.
To do them justice, you'd need a couple of thousand pounds/dollers/whatever, and you'd get something that makes MP Megatron and Mp Starscream look like hard as nails basics from the energon line...

I dont think personally I could ever spend money on such a thing, could you?

actually I've seen them do it with Gundam models..those things are extremely detailed and some of them transform as well!!!. so its doable in transformers.. and if they do it well, an the price is right, heck yeah I'd buy them..

Gundamn aint as fiddly, messy and and downright complex as the transformations in the movie.
Also Gundamn cost a f**king bomb.
Also Gundamn falls to peices if you look at em violently.

Yeah, no thanks.

A movie-perfect rendition of the transformers would be almost impossible with today's technology. Maybe in 10 years.

You try transforming it and you cut up your hands. You trip and fall and are impaled by your latest toy. Lets just give them a knife to play with and save some money.

For all of bays talk about no mass shifting there is an awfule lot of unexplained peices of metal on those guys. Do you have any idea how many seams we would have in a masterpiece version of any of these figures? There wouldn't be a peice of plastic more than a centimeter square on a 12 inch figure.

Nope I will take my "blocky" leader prime that looks a heck of a lot like the movie render and be happy with it. Deluxe 08' BB looks really good too. No need for something ridiculusly complicated. Already enough people complaining about how difficult MP Megs is. These things would be despised by everyone with fingers larger than a 4 year old.

Yeah, I can definitely do without as well.

By the way, loved that 'look at em violently' line.

Yes, yes, and yes.

The movie designs are far too complex to be possible in the real world, on such a small scale.

No thanks.

Also, looking at pics on the computer game's site, can anybody tell me how a transformer that transformes from a car or a truck can tower over a 4 story building? If you look at the screenshots, the tfs are HUGE compaired to everything else in there (apart from Bumbles), smells suspiciously like mass shigting to me....

Yes, PLEASE, I pray the MP line doesn't get distracted by the movie fluff.

see....

and i'm not talking about exactly accurate, just as close as you could possibly come..without making it too hard to transform.. maybe some auto morph stuff incorporated to save time would help...

Well, you heard it here!!!! TAKARA TOMY, you have a challenge, no one thinks its possible to do a Masterpiece Movie figure....just for the record, I hope they figure it out, the price is good, the transformation isn't too complex and you all eat your text!! :P

No no, please no. If they make MP movie figures before they do Galvatron, Scourge, Cyclonus, Hot Rod, Kup, Ironhide, Ratchet, ALL the seekers, and oh so many more, I will blame you Skywarp-2!!!!!!!

HA!!!!

I don't want them to stop the MP G-1 Line up, just do an MMP (movie masterpiece) line up or incorporate one Movie bot here and there into the MP line... :P

besides I want to see Galvatron, Scourge, Cyclonus, Hot Rod, Kup, Ironhide, Ratchet, ALL the seekers, and a Rodimus Prime too!!

Meh, I wouldn't like to see this as a line.

The leader class Prime is great, we are getting Ultimate Bumblebee, that's about as detailed and complex I want the movie themed characters to be.
