Jesus. I wonder what the shipping would cost.....There's so much stuff you can hardly see what's there.

I was wondering who it was too.

Yeah. It's too bad this is a posthumus sale. That's always sad.

That is so sad. :(

I have no idea who can drop that kind of cash on a collection though, they need to sell it in smaller lots. Kind of sad that they're even selling it off though. :(

I don't even know the exchange rate from Canadian dollars to American dollars, but I think breaking this up into lots is a better idea than such a huge price tag.
My thought is that since a man died, the family just wants to get rid of this stuff rather than have it sit around and remind them of the hobby of a loved one who is gone.

I was nosing through the memberlist, but there are too many folk who don't put in thier locations, or like me (canadian) who puts in somethign odd. But there is one person from grand prarie.

If it was someone from here with that kind of collection, I'd like to think someone would have posted an RIP thread about it. Breaking that up in to small group lots would be the best way to sell it, huge lot auctions tend to scare people off.

Oh My!!!! what a sad circumstance to be in...

What they need is a collector with lots of cash, or sell it off in smaller lots...its definitely something I would want is to have a collector take care of my collection if I passed away..That is if I didn't have my kids..

horrible though... what a sad story... he must have spent years collecting and such... :-( :-( :(

Thanks for dragging Me down in the dumps Grifter prime!!!

Price tag aside, had they of broken it up, while revealing the circumstances, I don't believe I could feel comfortable...I wouldn't want to break up such a collection, regardless of the owner's...'position'. It just seems...wrong.
