ROTF Elita-1. Honestly, I hated her robot mode from the start. But I NEEDED her for my female TF collection.

Clocker Universe release.
Classics Jetfire was a disappointment but I didn't actually HATE it.
Alternity Prime was a major disappointment but I grew to like him.

Alternators/KissPlayer/Binaltech Convoy mold. Ugly as hell until, well KissPlayer and Binaltech came along.......it eventually grew on me.

Classics Galvatron and... Darkmount... Yeah, I was not too thrilled with DM for some reason..

The Voyager Battle Blades Optimus Prime. I just don't like it. I'd've returned it but I wanted the Matrix and I'm not that big of a tool that I'd take it back without it.

The term "brick" is reserved for toys with little to no articulation. Those have a passable amount, they're just crap.

Uniiverse Tankor/Octane. I just can't stand that toy. Crappy limbs, crappy weapons and IMHO, all 3 modes suffer for the others. Gone, but with a nice little profit, as I got it when it was hard to find.

Universe Hotshot. I heard all the ney-sayers, but went for it anyway. he sat on the shelf until I got TFCC Dion, which I for some reason like so much better. Guess it's the henkei mold. Oddly enough I managed to sell Hotshot for a profit as well!

Generations Thunderwing comes to mind as well, he's just really meh.

you hit the nail on the head about Tankor/Octane. Generations Thunderwing is kinda cool, but too much like his pretender shell, and WAY too small... Number one hated toy is Universe Galvatron... he's cool if you just leave him on the shelf but I cannot transform him without him falling into a million pieces. Thats what hasbro gets for downsizing a voyager mold to deluxe (at least I think that's what happened.)

Once I got the Deluxe insecticon figures from one of the Transformer stores you see on the internet. I was really excited when they came as i thought they would be absolutely awesome.

They were not Awesome. two did not have moveable arms, barrage hada big nose and I absolutely hated them.

Seriously? I love this guy! He's one of my favorite toys.

Generations Darkmount. He is by far the biggest regret of a tf I spent money on in a long time.

man that guy is awesome.....if you can transform fim correctly. and any wayseveryone has a different opinion on things so with thatits time for the next person to replie

Universe/Henkei Galvatron......ohhhh the horror! Reason why he was downsized is because of TFA(mainly Shockwave) So if there's anyone to blame, its TFA. One of the Japanese designers said so himself.

I know Hasbro said they downsized him 'cause there were already so many big tanks or something but it doesn't make it right dammit

I think a lot of us (secretly or not) wish that... though I like having a deluxe bludgeon similar to his inner form and a voyager based on his outer form

I was about to say that, although some transformations disappoint, I've never hated a toy because of this.

Then I remembered Titanium Thundercracker. I bought him because of the hype, but was sorely disappointed by him.

Most titanium figres are bad i think with the exception of the Fallen he did look actually really decent although i haven't got the toy and the scourge which would make a nice sweep if you have the G1 Scourge.

The transformers i hated the most were the deluxe insecticons they were absolutely awful figures one had a gigantic nose, another no movable arms and the other were just dissapointing.

In my opinion Hasbro and all other toy companies will always have toys that you come to hate for many reasons.

1. Not properly thought out for example TM Fracas/nightstick no bolt in legs or plastic to prevent damage. Would that really have killed them?

2. Lack of articulation big problem with the 80-90 Transformers

3. Poor colour

4. Just don't work as a toy

Animated Samurai Prowl - Nothing connects well. Side car even couldn't connect to the bike and after I forced it in, I made a stress mark. Hip ball joints are so loose. Kept fixing them but still. End up selling him.

ROTF Mindwipe - A good figure and I know many people like him, but for some reason I don't know what, I just don't like him. Kept him for couple days to see if I would change my mind but no. Later sealed it back and returned to store.

Yeah, and his name is 2007 Movie Optimus Prime

Cybertron Runabout (or Runamuck? the black one...) - the robot mode is awful, with a worthless gauntlet-gimmick.
Still, the paint is cool enough on the car mode for me to keep the figure.
