I was cruising through the toy aisle at my local Walmart (Pearl, Ms) and I came across the Rodimus, Cyclonus Battle in Space box set. I figured I would post this for all those still looking to check their locations. $19.97- not a bad price.....

Found 2 in Live Oak, FL WalMart. Left 1 for someone. Found Jazz at Walgreens just a few minutes prior. It's been a good hunting day.

I dunno where Live Oak is but I'm in St. Pete, just south of Tampa. I found three of those packs in my local Target. Are there painted faction symbols under the rub signs? I didn't pick any of them up for myself and I'd like to know. I don't know why there wouldn't be, they look exactly like the Challenge at Cybertron figures just with added rub signs. Anyone know?

NW of Gainesville. I'll check in the AM. I was going to pull the one from Cyclonus anyway (it overhangs on either side).

BTW anyone need a Classics Rodimus? Displayed for the past few years, does have a minor stress mark on shoulder, otherwise great.

Right on, thanks. What are you asking for the Classics Rodimus, I may be interested.

No insignia underneath. :-(

Oh well, looks better without it anyway.

I was at Walmart the other day and came across this set. I really like it but was undecided as to what to do with the Matrix, so..

Found one at Target in PA on Friday morning. Box was a bit beat up, but I shredded that anyway!

Anyone notice just how easily these rubsigns peel off? It's almost like they want to be removed.

Holy slag I found some at Target already! Along with the Fallen and Highwire. Too bad I already dumped all my cash on a PS Move navi controller and MAG today. I must go back and get WFC Bee and legends Ravage too.

Bummer.

These have shown up at both Walmart and Target in my area. I snagged one at Walmart.

Now I need to decide whether I want to part with Battle In Space or Challenge At Cybertron. In favor of the latter, real insignias. In favor of the former, a matrix and comic that's an interesting bit of retcon.

Or maybe I'll open them both up and sell the surplus figures as opened items. Sigh.

Darn. :( Maybe I'll just slap reprolabels over them and call it a day. I'm almost thinking I shouldn't have preordered from BBTS, since they're showing up everywhere for cheaper... knowing Canada though, it's probably still a deal compared to our retail price.

Got the last one at Target yesterday. They also had PCC Sledge which I couldn't find any of him. So now I have wave 1 Opened, Wave 2 an Wave 3 plus the 5 packs.

IF you want to know I think this is the same matrix that came with the New Year's Convoy set I had back in 2002. You could fit the matrix inside G1 Prime/Convoy real easy.

I glad I canceled my preorder with BBTS where it would have cost me another $15 because they wanted $24 + 10 to ship it. So I got it for $20 not bad for being patient.

Don't get me wrong I still buy from BBTS...I love shopping there and at TF Source but I got a new job with Apple Computers so the checks should start rolling in.

I picked mine up at a Walmart yesterday. I almost missed it until my wife saw a box turned over. I absolutely love this set and they finally got the colors right.

As far as the Matrix being the same one from New Year's Convoy, I don't have that to compare it to but it would make sense. The Matrix not only fits into the chest of G1 Prime, it actually locks into place on a groove.
