Just so everyone is aware, BigBadToyStore.com has a pre-order listing the the 3 Japanese exclusive Targetmasters that were just released a week ago. To get these you had to purchase 3000 yen worth of Transformers at 3 certain retail stores, which comes to about 30 U.S. Dollars. The price of these on BBTS is $150!!!!!!!!!

No thanks, I'll make my own out of the existing PCC mini-cons.

Well what kills me is how they can justify $150 for Minicons.....MINICONS!!!!! I'd have a hard time stomaching the $90 you ACTUALLY had to spend to get them....

I'm saving my pennies for the TFC not-Devy!!!

More like $110 with the current exchange rate. Blame the weak Yen.

The price is high at BBTS, no doubt.
But it's always a shame to see people complaining about the price without considering what it takes to get these.
First off, they're not "free", you have to buy a good bit of merchandise just to get one.
Then you have to do that three times.
Then you have to consider that they are on the other side of the world.
...and someone has to get them for you
...and take up to three of their own days to do that
...and get compensated for their time and effort
...and make a bit of profit on doing so.
Middleman prices are nothing to sneeze at, but you have to consider all the crap that goes into fetching you things from the other side of the world. We haven't even accounted for the fact that these might be highly desirable, adding in to the mix a group of collectors who will push your wallet out of the way with theirs. Micron collecting has always been a challenge. They're called "Chase" figures for a reason.

And this is coming from the expert: Counterpunch, Mini-Con Hunter extraordinaire.

I'm not saying its a bad thing to get them and sell them. I just can't wrap my brain around spending that kind of money for Mini-cons, that you can essentially make with a little paint. Just like with the Thundercracker from a few years back.....goes for almost $200 and is a crap of a figure (to me, that is) and I made one from Acid Storm that looks just as good. If they were a brand new mold of minicons then yes, understandable.

You won't believe my Mini-Con wish list. Mind I don't want
all of them, but the Megalo, Hell Flame, Caliber and Platinum Microns are ranking high.

I won't lie I went on a Mini-Con frenzy for a bit, I even had the Armada requiem Blaster, and Energon Perceptor given to me...for nothing, and then it just went crazy. Two different Star Sabers( Energon and Dark Saber) and countless others.
