Micromaster Homages

In recent times, we've seen a few Micromaster homages:

Countdown
Flak
Big Daddy
Treadbolt
Blazemaster
Third party Growl and Spaceshot.

What Micromaster homages would you like to see?

I'd love to see the following:

Blazemaster from Cybertron Evac. The bot mode really looks like Blazemaster's MTMTE profile pic.

Black Jack and Swindler from Generations Windcharger.

Whisper and Stormcloud from the Titanium WW Seeker mold. Maybe Groundshaker and Sky Hopper as well. Can never have to many Seekers and it's a very underrated mold. Slag, on a sidenote, I'd love to see Swoop and Terrorsaur from the mold as well.

Tailwind from Classics Powerglide.

Sidetrack from Energon Blight.

Freewheeler from Movie Breakdown.

I'd be happy with third party clip on heads to give us Tote and Fixit from Encore Ironhide and Ratchet.

so any more suggestions?

Don't forget:

Movie Jolt (not RotF Jolt), who was an homage to Road Hugger
Movie Mudflap (not RotF Mudflap), who was based on Erector
Movie Inferno, who takes some minor inspiration from Tote
RotF Breacher, modeled after Groundshaker's ATV

Interesting, I wasn't aware those guys homaged Micromasters.

Technically, Classics Rodimus homages his Micromaster self. That Micromaster is a personal grail of mine.

Used to dislike Micromasters after a while because I had a lot of them and they took ages to set up for battles I staged. The recent larger homages have piqued my interest in them again. Wish I could find my Micromasters Mini Series from Dreamwave again.

Countdown has a special place in my spark as I won him in issue 250 of the Marvel UK comic. Can't believe it's over 20 years ago.

I terribly want Erector from Cybertron Armorhide.

They already did Stormcloud as a repaint of Powerglide.

I'd love a Flattop personally. They should make a Generations Broadside, and then repaint him into Flattop :P

That Hot Rod is the coolest Micromaster ever and the one from the Star Convoy is even better!

I would love an Overload from C Armorhide, a Countdown from C Hardtop, or a Skystalker from C Clocker. I've actually made (but have yet to photograph) Countdown from Legends Sandstorm (Beachcomber) and Skystalker from Legends Smokescreen (Hot Rod) but official releases, even from FunPub, would be awesome!

I know they made Stormcloud from Powerglide but he looks nothing like the original. Tailwind had the same alt mode as Powerglide and they both had faceplates. Repainting Classics Powerglide as Tailwind would have made a nice Rattler homage for the GI Joe fans as well. I suppose the Hasbro Powerglide could pass for Hot House who was a repaint of the original Tailwind.

I like the idea of Overload from Armourhide. But with respect to the earlier poster, I think War Within Optimus Prime with a head remold might make a better Erector.

I wonder if Energon Inferno/Roadblock could be used for one.

BTW, there were 2 Micromaster Hot Rods?

I just had a very interesting idea for those who may be a little looser on their homages than others;

The new G2 Optimus Prime = Micromaster Overload.

It's not perfect, but I like it well enough.
Also Reprolabels has a set that turns The White Powerglide into Hothouse, which made me like the figure a lot more.

I still like the idea of Armada or Universe Hot Shot as Tailspin. I think it's just me.

I love the homages because I kinda see them as their bodies pre-miniaturizing. And for at least Countdown, they took his old chassis and made it into a base.
