We just received word from Reprolabels.com that they have a small but awesome update. Check it below:

A short update this month, but it's a great one!

We've been innondated with requests for RTS Jazz stickers, so here you go!
http://www.reprolabels.com/Classics/jazz.php

Justin brings us more Animated love with stickers for Wreck-Gar:
http://www.reprolabels.com/Animated/upgradea22.php

And perhaps our most ambitious project of all time, is this awesome full upgrade set for G1 Metroplex: http://www.reprolabels.com/Upgrades/upgradex11.php

And we're STILL offering 14 free faction symbols with every $10 you spend on TF stickers!

Go on, make your RTS Jazz a sexy Jazz!

OMG! I can't sell my Metroplex now. That upgrade set for him is huge! Awesome. I ordered a set already.
I've got a problem though. They suggest to get rid of the old decals you soak Metroplex in mild soap water. They have the plastic wheel variant whereas I have the rubber tire variant. Won't the soap water have adverse effect on the rubber tires?

You can remove the tires IIRC.

I think this settles it that I'm getting the United version of Jazz. These reprolabels are nice, but not quite what I'd want. Too bad HLJ is already sold out for preorders...

Robotkingdom still has preorders open. I bought mine off of them. I like their service too.

Yeah, too shiny. IMO, they stand out too much and actually hurt the overall look of Jazz.

I may just add an Autobot sticker, paint the taillights myself, and call it a day.

Yes! Jazz looks great! I've been hoping for Jazz stickers for quite some time now. I'll probably be getting those and the Tracks stickers once I can find the figures, or maybe even before. I'm also planning to get the Classics Hot Rod stickers soon.

Off topic, but I gotta agree with the service at RK. I requested that my Shadow Scythe be sent in the FansProject cardboard case pack (they ship from FP at 6 per case with Shadow Scythe stamped on the sides), and they did it with no problem. Needless to say, as a MISB collector, I was ecstatic about the level of customer service of RK. End of commercial. ;)^

The Jazz set is definitely lackluster compared to what they did for Tracks. I did a pretty good job painting Rts Jazz into United as he is very easy to do since everything is already outlined (lights, grill, ETC). I might just have to go try to find an encore Metroplex now though.

Nice sets all around. On a related subject, shipping went up to $3.

This. The Tracks set is quite nice and I recommend but this set doesn't do it for me. Sometimes, I really don't like chrome.

I would like to know if anyone here ever soaked their transformer in soapy water to remove old stickers? If you have, did you encounter any adverse affect like rust to your metal screws and posts? I've been soaking my Metroplex all day and it just occurred to me it may cause rust.

Never done it myself, but I suggest using a can of compressed air or CO2, like the kind you'd use to dust off a keyboard, to blow-dry the nooks/crannies when it's done soaking. Blow the water out of the axles, screwheads, etc., it should be OK.

Meh, I'll stick to enamel paint thinner, Wilkinson blades and q-tips.

I get a laugh just out of seeing what they come up for putting on license plates. '2 SEXY' for Tracks? PERFECT. 'Honk if you love Polka' bumper sticker for Wreck-Gar? Ahahahah! :D

Probably going to get a Tracks set for that plate and the hood decals. While I like the rest of the figure design I just can't stand that tribal style 'flames' in a lame effort to look hip and modern. I'd rather have the new body with the classic flames.

The Jazz set looks nice if you like extra shmancy G1 decals, but aren't a necessity. He looks fine without all the little extra stickers and I feel no inclination to include them just because the original toy had them... Though that MEISTER license plate...

Also need to get the Hot Rod set. While the red's won't match on the others, the hood sticker covers the whole piece of his chest, so it'd still work on Battle In Space version. That they horribly gimped his trademark flame deco is the only thing wrong with that repaint!

And Jazz's hubcap is still in black, which I just painted to silver yesterday.

Thank you reprolabels and presumably whoever canceled their Jazz pre-order becuase of it! I thought BBTS just had another round of pre-orders, but I noticed right after I snapped one up they went back to sold out!
