Despite not being in the movie, Jolt is apparently getting a new toy.

(found this on TFW)

I actually kinda like it so far. Look vaguely Blurr-ish in those colors. 8)

New Auction for DOTM Mech Tech Deluxe Jolt

You remember Jolt right? He was the robot in Revenge of the Fallen who just would not shut up and was BFFs with Ratchet. He even helped Prime and Jetfire hooked up. Clearly, he is an asset that the Autobots couldn't function without. Seriously though, I mean he got almost zero screen time and literally no lines in ROTF so no one expects him to even show up in the third installment. But with GM pushing the hell outta the Volt and this new auction on Yahoo Auctions Japan maybe we'll see Jolts electrifying peronality in Dark of the Moon. Mind you, just because you have a toy in the movie line doesn't mean you get jack for screen time. Right Barricade?

Oh ya, no robot mode pics so fire up those imaginations and yakkity yak yak about it here

Thank God it's a new mold. Jolt got the raw deal in transformation last time out. Hopefully this will be better than the last one.

No problem bro, we're all on a team. Glad we're all on top of things this morning.

I hope it's a new mould and not just a remould. I never opened up my Jolt from ROTF because it just seemed so bland. Fingers crossed.

Hoping for a new mold too. There definately is difference in the paneling that can be seen on the alt mode. I did have the first Jolt, but got rid of it; just wasn't liking his robot mode & those back bumper-panel feet.

i'm actually really digging the look of Jolt here. my biggest gripe with the ROTF version was that chunk of plastice negating any head movement. I hope thats gone in this version.

Man, this DOTM toy line-up has been a little disappointing thus far. Let's hope they're holding back on us.

With that said, this one looks OK. I like the carbon-fiber hood (and roof?...that's odd).

That carbon fibre detailing is found on more DotM toys, what's the deal?

I hope they sort out the paintjob, that's... uh, not to my liking.

I really did like the ROTF Jolt mold, I have both releases. A few simple mods, such as cutting of fthe head-restricting plastic block, really make him shine.

Doesn't look like any of the DOTM figs that end up in my collection will be using their mega-power weapons in alt mode, that's for sure. Ick.

Dammit! This doesn't look promising.

These DOTM figs are gonna be sitting on the shelves FROEVER!! We'll get the last of the Genereations line then DOTM for the rest of the year and then some.

Thank goodness for Thirdparty figs, Ebay, and the forums for all the G1's and Beast era figs i need/want to get still. That should satisfy me through these dark days ahead.

EDIT: Looking for a Magmatron! anybody got one? (just thought i'd squeeze that one in there, sorry)

I'll be even more excited about this if he's in the movie. I wonder if they changed his color since we will most like be getting a blue Mercedes bot toy.

Sweeeet!!! This got my hopes back up. What a neat new mold. They even changed the car to match the production 2011 Chevy Volt rather than the prototype. I like the carbon fibre detailing too. I'm definitely getting him.

And sorry guys, Jolt will not appear in the movie. That has already been confirmed. I heard the Volt car was scheduled to appear on the set somewhere, but ultimately it wasn't among the cast. He could be like the 2007 Arcee situation: Was supposed to be in the movie, but was cut out, but still got a toy anyway.

Reminds me A LOT of Camshaft from the first movie line...'pity when that was such a crap figure and Jolt is actually really good!

I'm probably mistaken, but those don't really look like peg holes on the top of the car. Yet the Mech Tech weapon looks pretty firmly attached in the other pic, magnets maybe?

An Ebay auction has surfaced that appears to reveal the previously reported DOTM Jolt's robot mode. If this is indeed Jolt he looks considerably different from his ROTF incarnation. To view the auction click here!

This new mold is definately less kibble-heavy. Have to wait for more pics before deciding if he's a worthy purchase & an improvement over his ROTF mold.

Hmm, that doesn't look very good to me. The head sculpt still looks like Jolt, but the rest is completely different from the last version, except maybe the hands. Hopefully it's still mistransformed.

Just me, but if you notice there is an Autobot that DIES every movie. (That stays dead *COUHG* Optimus Prime *COUGH*)
Is anyone thinking about Jolt being the next victim of death that didn't happen in G1?

Anyway, I'm kind of half-n'-half on this one. Sure, yeah its cool; but it really is too close to Camshaft for comfort. I'm going to need to see a LOT of reviews on this guy (And the rest of them) before I make a buy.

...Is it me, or does that look like a kitbash using parts from Power Core Combiners Doubleclutch, a Jolt head, and random transformers parts?
