New Images of Reveal The Shield Demolition Rumble

It's been quite some time since we received a toy of Rumble, (Takara's Music Label, Hasbro's Alternators), and the Decepticon is back and blue? Regardless if he's Frenzy or Rumble to you, Hasbro's decided to revive the Decepticon cassettes into transforming tanks. Demolition Rumble retains his pile driving technique, and looks like a worthy piece to add to anyone's Classics collection. Check out new images of the figure below!

I do like the pile drivers on him.I still don't know why he is a tank though

I wish I knew were they got that grey backdrop it looks like a grey version of the Teletraan 1 aka IG-TF007 Computer Control Center

Very solid looking figure. These pictures sold Rumble and Frenzy for me. I'll will be picking both of them up on sight. Is the third picture a look at the rumored combined mode?(obviously missing the other half)

Good enough for me to buy but not good enough to replace the Perfect Effect versions on my classics shelf.

I know alt modes are limited, but we've had enough Decepticon tanks.

besides the chest details and the head-sculpt... I don't know what people see in these guys. They are way too big to be in scale with the classics IMO, and frankly I think the feet look silly, and the arms and "pile drivers" just look like big piles of kibble.

The tank alt mode is cool, but not in a F/R way. I'm very happy with my PE versions, so obviously these won't replace them.... but I am having a hard time justifying buying these guys for even cheap retail price when I can't find much I like about them besides their names

I know for people who didn't want to spend the 50-60$ for the PE versions, this is their best bet... but for the majority of us that go for character likeness over all else, there is no comparison

The pile drivers look like they were tacked on afterwards but still a great looking figure. Is that an old style rub sign on the turret? Is hasbro using two different styles or is it a running change? The one shown here isnt the same as the ones on the battle in space figures.

What are the scale on these, are they deluxes or scouts?

It's nice that they've given him hands AND piledrivers but I don't think I'll be buying him. I don't like the look.

I guess this means more Frenzy/Rumble scouts for us then ;)

I'm not really interested in the PE versions as they are too costly for my taste. That and the fact that they don't look that good for $60+. Besides, when it comes to third parties, I only go Fansproject.

Agreed.

Does that mean you're not even tempted by TFClub's Project Deva?

I can neither confirm nor deny that allegation :P

It looks good so far, no doubt about it. The price and the overall quality on the entire thing, however, will have the final say if I break my rule or not.

I might get Rumble and Frenzy just to get these guys. The price point is just about right ... although they may not replace Earphone Rumble / Frenzy in my display. Mainly because the earphones interact with Soundwave (which is important to me).

The PE versions never tempted me because they're just not made to interact with Soundwave ... and worse yet they interact with "Ultra Magnus"! Bugs me to the point where I didn't bother getting them.

Same here, I've only ever got one other third party item that wasn't Fansproject made and despite how cool it is, I continue to struggle with whether or not that much cool was worth that much green compared to an FP product.

Mind you I'm always tempted by other companies efforts, but never enough to fall through in the end... or at least fall through without regrets, and Perfecteffect's little figures do not look like they can surpass that.
