So when it comes to transformers one of the main things that catch my eye is if they have lights and sound features. However i am not really familiar with a lot of the past toylines and i was wonder if there is anyway you could easily get a list of past and present Transformers with lights, sound or both...

The list isn't that extensive, especially back in G1. Here are all of them, from the top of my head, not listing repaints:

G1
- Shockwave

G2
- Optimus Prime (via a soundpack)
- Starscream and Ramjet (via a soundpack)
- Megatron
- Laser Optimus Prime

Beast Wars
- Optimal Optimus

Beast Machines
- Ultra Jetstorm
- Supreme Cheetor

Robots in Disguise
- Optimus Prime
- Ultra Magnus

Armada
- Any Max-Con and larger, except for Tidal Wave (Voyager and up, basically)

Energon
- Any Mega Commander and larger, except for Wing Saber (Voyager and up). The Japanese editions however had the electronics gutted on later releases.

Cybertron
- Vector Prime
- Leobreaker
- Any Ultra Class toy and larger

Galvatron and Trypticon from G1 also. Sky Lynx had a walking gimmick if that also counts. Star Convoy had electronics.

G1/Encore Omega Supreme can also drive around the track in base mode and walk in bot mode, both with a light.

Masterpieces: lights built in at various points of the figures (except for the seeker mold); american Prime also had a talking base.

Universe: new Ultra molds (however, Energon/Cybertron repaints had their electronics removed!)

Bayformers: all Leaders have lights and sound
