I am a little sad that CP won't be there this year. I still don't know if I'll be able to make it, but if I did he was one of the ones I was looking forward to seeing again.

Anyways, The more I look at the figures the more lackluster they become. There's no doubt that it's a cool set, but I just can't feel the Botcon magic coming from it.

I'm still wanting to know what the souvenir goodies are. I'm hoping for SG Galvatron. That will make my day.

Any word on whether or not the BotCon animated stunticons will be able to combine into Menasor? I don't see how they will (I'm sure someone else has asked this question, but 36 pages is a lot to sift through).

PS: Those buttons were hilarious. I will definitely pull that out on somebody at work today.

And they will not combine! That would require more retooling than FP is willing to do.

I wouldn't say I expected anything. But, it's disappointing that they would choose to release a gestalt group as a BotCon exclusive that can't combine.

The official Botcon page has been updated with vehicle mode and robot mode images of Animated Stunticon Motormaster. As was speculated, this figure is a repaint of the Animated Voyager Optimus Prime figure with a new headsculpt. The figure is painted black, purple and very light purplish grey color very similar to his G1 counterpart. His head is very blocky and square. Also an homage to the G1 figure whose head was surrounded by his trailer. We now have seen all figures in the box set for Botcon 2011. Post your thoughts in the Energon Pub Forums!

It almost looks like his face is just painted onto the flat side of his boxy head. Really hope that's not the case.

I can see a head swap coming for this one.

That is soooooooo wrong looking....

But the body color is cool and all.

Ya, it does look like that. But I am pretty confident it just looks that way in the photo. The black on the sides of his face really obscure any depth.

Wreck-Gar was the more appropriate mold to use. I know people whined about his neck, but if FP can do 2007's Thrust Wings, they could have changed that too.

Just like if we're getting that supposed Toxitron, I'd rather have the Wreck-Gar mold for that figure as well. It fits the name so much better with a garbage truck rather than a fire truck.

Maybe, the head on Motormaster would look a bit better if they would have sculpted the square outside portion as a helmet, rather than an actual part of the head. I dunno.
