So I just sold some stuff on eBay, providing me with the proper funds for a Classics Skywarp. However, this figure is on KO Toys. I looked up Classics Skywarp, he look nothing like him. I mean, the mold is the same, but the cockpit is blue and there's no Decepticon insignia whatsoever.

Is this authentic, or a cheap knockoff?

I think if it's on KOtoys it is a KO. I have had terrible xp with them so I won't buy from them, but others here have had no problems. Good Luck.

Yeah, as the name says, they're KOs (Knock Offs), some aren't bad mind you, but none are official HasTak products.

There's going to be an American release of the C.H.U.G. Thundercracker this year, so it's possible you'll see Skywarp too, if you're willing to wait.

Well, assuming it happens, it will most likely retail for the same amount all Deluxes retail for now--somewhere around the $10-$15 range, depending on where you shop. Or heck, depending on how "proper" your funds are, bid on this set on e-bay and sell off the Ultra Magnus if you don't want him:

Unfortunately, that listing is JUST out of my current price range. However, if the Skywarp thing does go down, I could definitely spend $15.

Ahem. KO Toys? Does that name ring bells in your head? Knock OFF toys. Total Scam. Buy from Amazon or BBTS. They are my Transformers Profit Stations. Now if you'd excuse me I'm going to watch G1 on the Hub.

Well EXCUSE me for not knowing everything.

Save up and get the real deal is my line of thinking. I'd rather pay a little more for the real deal than pay less for a KO, if it comes down to a choice and the price isn't too bad.

But if you can't wait for a Skywarp, you gotta know that the KO you're looking at is pretty cheap. I have the pink version. The hands and legs came misassembled and the fists tend to stick in the arms. I shaved off most of pinky's thumbs to get them to come in and out smoothly, otherwise it required a tool or long and hard nails. One of the wings likes to fall down too. And the arms are really, reaaaaaaaly loose.

With KOToys it's best to assume it's a KO unless otherwise marked. I had a good experienc ethere myself so far.

Yeah, well, buying KOs rather than authentics go against my TF standards.
