Just got some new figures...and yes Thunderwing is tiny for a Deluxe...but then he is nothing when compared to HftD Jetblade. I like the mold personally but I swear the guy is nearly scout size...just sayin'

Yeah, I just got a Thunderwing, and I knew it would be deluxe, but still, it's really small.

That doesn't make him bad though. Personally I love him.

Same here, he is small but a great looking figure.

He is great..i just wish his waist tabbed in securely instead of the floppiness that is has...though i may be doing it wrong. But he does look great in person. I never liked the video reviews i saw of him, but picked him up because i did have the original pretender version as a kid.

At first I didn't want him, but I went ahead and picked him up during one of those sales Toys R Us was having before Xmas. I ended up liking him. He looks really good, even for being small....

I'm mostly glad that it's not just a robot with a jet on his back like Universe Silverbolt.

He still is, it is just harder to notice. The hands kind of give it away. Still an awesome figure though.

if you rotate the hands 90 degrees to where only the backs of them are visible from the bottom in jet mode. it looks sooo much better.

I never tried that, I'll have to give it a shot.

My only disappointment was that they didn't do anything with the drone. I realize they planned to make it transformable, but scrapped that due to cost issues, but I wish they'd at least made it so it could combine with the guns or something.

At least the guns combine with each other, that's pretty cool.

I want to make a pic of him standing "over" PM Prime like in the comics...

Has anyone noticed that 2010 jets are really small for example Jetblade.

Still better than Silverbolt, though.

He's a good figure, and come on, Thunderwing? Who ever thought we'd get him in the line?

That was actually the figure that made start this thread. I had heard all the rumors about thunderwing being small for a deluxe. But when I picked up jetblade he was even tinier which really, really shocked me.

*compares Thunderwing with HtfD Dirge*

Drige/Jetblade and Thunderwing are actually equal in height. Ever tried extending Jetblade's legs by the knees, there's a double joint there.
