Bumblebee in need of fixing...

Hey all!

Two years ago, I got my brother what he had been wanting badly.

I'd ask him, "Hey, what do you want for your birthday?"

He'd respond, "Bumblebee."

Then I would respond knowing that I could not find one, "Besides Bumblebee?"

He would then say, "Bumblebee."

So, I finally gave in to his pleading and gave him a ROTF Bumblebee, it was an instant hit. But it had so much automorph that one day when he was transforming him, that his upper automorph skipped a tooth on the internal gearworks and could no longer transform properly. I had to wedge the the automorph correctly, but now one of the front wheels won't budge.

Now I'm stuck between a Rock, and a Hard Place.

I can either:

1). Buy him a new one.

2). Fix his old one.

How do I fix it though?

Do I grab a screwdriver and open it up and fix the gears there? Or do I buy him Battle Blade Bumblebee?

Buy him a new one. It is quite hard to fix ROTF Bumblebee. Quite frankly, ROTF Bumblebee is a piece of junk

I agree...get him the Battle Blade BB...way superior to the ROTF version.
Reminds me of a smaller version of HA Bumblebee ( for 1/3 the price ) :D

The Camaro Concept mold, from which RotF Bumblebee comes from, has a chest that's held together by thick pins, making disassembly practically impossible. So yeah, buy him a new Bumblebee, Battle Blades being an obvious choice. Good luck finding him though.

My area has him for cheap, so if you need one drop me a line.

Same thing happened to me 07 Cliffjumper after a coworker got hold of him. I tried to force the toy to jump back a couple teeth, but it just wasn't going to happen. I figure if I were successful, the gear would have stripped, so I stopped trying.

I think the advise is correct so far; Buy a Battle Blades BB and be done with it.
