My thoughts are that he LOOKS awesome but its a waste IMO. What good is a transformer that DOESNT TRANSFORM?

To quote the master of light piping:
Thew wrote:-of course it doesn't transform because it's not a 'Transformer'. It's a Revoltech of a character of the Transformers, so you can't possibly complain.
Plus it's super poseable, if that isn't worth loosing the transformation I can't imagine what would be.

Actually I don't find them superposeable so much as annoying. I have Megatron to go with my THS-02. The joints tend to want to sit not quite where I want them so they don't stand up cos one foot is not quite flat on the floor.

Admittedly there can be issues regarding the alignment of the revolver joints and the holes they go in not being quite the same on both sides, but I've never had one that didn't at least stand flat.

I have it and it's pretty decent.
Really, out of all my Revoltechs, the Transformer Revoltechs are the least impressive by far. They lack accessories and stands and don't even have many different hands for different poses. My Starscream's Megatron gun also broke fairly quickly (although my Revoltechs have a knack for being broken) and my Ultra Magnus refuses to hold his gun without dropping it whenever he's slightly bumped. Its a bit sad putting my Transformer Revoltechs next to my Evangelion and Gurren Lagann ones because they do look out of place and clearly had MUCH less thought put into them.

I like the revoltech figures. I have them all and wish they had made a few more. No, they dont transform but they can achieve more dynamic poses than most transforming figures due to no kibble and supportive joints.

I was actually surprised by how affordable they are. I was expecting like $70ish...but found tons on Ebay for $35 and as low as $17.
How many did they make? I've seen Prime, UM, Rodimus, Megs and SS. Wasnt there another?

Those 4 are the only TFs. You could buy the one from Robotech that the original Jetfire was taken from and pretend it's J. Fire.
I've got my eyes on these. I love the robot forms that are G1 accurate. Is it weird I watch YouTube videos reviewing then because I like the way the clicking joints sound?

A semi-licensed 3rd party in Japan did Shockwave, armored Ultra Magnus and I think Soundwave for Wonderfest. I remember a Skywarp but in all honesty I may be thinking of the SCF.

From what I remember, Revoltech Ultra Magnus was released twice. The first version had an extra set of white revolver joints in a blister card while the second release didn't.
Personally, I'm not too fond of it. The sculpting was faithful to Pat Lee's design, but it was a pretty weak design to begin with. The extras are severely lacking and bland. Sure, it has a lot of joints, but the placement of said joints leave a lot to be desired. Heck, he can't even fully raise his arms to the side.

See how one explains the other?
And I liked the Dreamwave style.

They said that was a limited edition figure.
