So I recently developed a liking toward G1 Blitzwing (the version of him on the show), but his G1 figure is SO inaccurate to the show. Is there a more accurate version out there for less than $30.42?

dude no offense, but do some research on your own. We all have the internet and you can look it up as easily as we can. The time you spend posting threads asking us to find stuff for you, could be better used by you looking yourself.

Sadly no. The only other transforming Blitzwing is Animated Blitzwing and he's accurate to the Animated show, not G1.

So its either that or nothing at all.

The one thing you have to understand is that the toys of G1 were made well before the Transformers brand came into existence, the Japanese Diaclone and Microman lines being the main sources. As such, the animation models were very stylised to increase appeal. In short, it's not that the toys were show accurate, but the show wasn't accurate to the toys!

www.tfwiki.net has plenty of info on G1 characters and toys.

None of the toys of G1 were accurate, at all. That's one thing we have to deal with. Plus the toys came about before the show. So, sorry. If you're lucky, they'll make Generations or Reviel the Shield Blitzwing. Otherwise I can't help you.

Just took a closer look at Blitzwing. Turns out, he's totally accurate.

Even though it is not cartoon accurate its still g1.
