Ugh, not my cup of tea.

The helcopter one wouldn't be bad if it wasn't for the rotor in the middle of the chest. It porbably detaches and can be used as a weapon, but if not, fail.

Thanks again movieverse for saving me lots of money!

Thanks to Ebay.com.au auctions we now have robot images of both the blue and green Deluxe NASCARs and the Voyager Autobot military helicopter. To view the new images follow the following links: blue NASCAR, green NASCAR, and Voyager Miliatry Helicopter.

Helicopter is totally Evac, or at least it looks like him. The blue guy looks like Mirage like everyone says, could be Tracks or anyone else though. The green one reminds me of Wheeljack. Though for all we know the helicopter is wheeljack, the dragon is mirage, and optimus prime is evac.

That blue Nascar reminds me of Energon Prowl...A LOT!!!!!!!

For one brief, fleeting moment I had a slight glimmer of temptation when I saw that helicopter. Then I took a closer look at the robot mode and saw the chest. :BANG_HEAD: :BANG_HEAD: Was anyone remotely close to being in their right mind when it came to designing these DotM toys??? #-o
The best thing I can say about these early release pics is that it has caused me to look at all the Scout and Deluxe figures still at the store that I passed up on the last toy line and think to myself "maybe I should get these before they get pulled and replaced with DotM figures".

Slightly tempted by the Helicoptor, but not in the others.

I'm starting to have a little faith in the DOTM line now. There are still quite a few figures that I have no intention of ever purchasing, but its nice to have a few that I really enjoy the look of now.

I'm starting to agree with you. Disappointed that it isn't Longbow. I don't know why, But I just got a feeling it's Silverbolt.

What a bunch of ugly robots !

I only collect Transformers from the movie lines, but Hasbro is really trying hard to convince me that my Hobby is stupid. With exception of the new Deluxe Ironhide, the new designs are a true step-back compared to the ROTF toy-line

A helicopter whose rotor ends up on his chest?!?
Dear Primus no!
After the disappointment of learning that the upcoming Arcee and Starscream in Generations were from TF:Prime instead of G1 or WFC, this can only mean that Generations Warpath isn't that awesome tank after all! It's:

GO-BOTS WARPATH!!!!!!!!! No, No, No, No, No...

...Hmm, on second glance, it looks like his blades fold up to avoid that slicing-off-his-arms problem his predecessor had. Might be worth checking out.

I'm convinced the large hole on the side of the Mechtech weapon is where the rotor should be in robot mode, not still attached to his chest. If not, then I call mistransformation and his chest is facing the wrong way.

I completely agree with Xterminator. I only collect movieverse Transformers, but these new toys look like crap. The mech tech and the holes to attach them in vehicle mode is total fail. its almost like they are trying to ruin them on purpose.... or just cashing out one final time on this movie. Since there isnt going to be a Transformers 4 I dont think Hasbro is overly concerned with the quality this time around. There is no need to try and bring back the fans... we wont be getting another Movieverse toyline. :-x

It really upsets me too, I think Transformers (minus the Human Transformers in 2) has been the greatest movie franchise of all time.

Helicopter - I actually dont mind the rotor on the chest because it appears to bend around him, giving an almost ammo-belt-like appearance. Kind of cool. His arms are pretty weird though, and it's hard to tell if there's any leg articulation. I'm also not a big fan of the black & white color scheme. It remains to be seen if I'll purchase it. If there's no leg articulation it's a definite no. But if there is I'll either get this or wait for a repaint.

Green Nascar - I'll probably get this guy. Looks cool enough. Could use a lot more paint detail on the chest though. Shame.

Blue Nascar - What a mess. It's probably a no unless it turns out to be a homage to someone important like Mirage.

I think they all look pretty good - I stand by my opinion that the green Wrecker is Roadbuster and the helicopter is Whirl (although they may have redesigned his head to differentiate him from Shockwave). Is it just me or does the blue Wrecker look really big?

I think kirbenvost is right about the rotor on the chest. The blades in the alt mode pic look like they have tabs on them and wrap around the body. It's an interesting new idea and as long as it doesn't obstruct anything then there's no harm in it. I hope the arms are mistransformed, it looks like there's some hinge action going on in there so they'll fold in better. The nascar guys look pretty good, but not spectacular.

helicopter-It's an Autobot Hind-D. I don't care about anything else beyond that, I must have him. The bot mode looks acceptable, but I'll be keeping him in Hind mode.

Green and Blue Wreckers-meh. I've been highly particular about the movie lines, so i will be passing on these guys.

i like the copter guy the rotor on the chest is lame but it doesnt ruin it the others arent that great. The green one is ok but you can tell theres alot of kibble on teh back and the blue guy is just bland. I think even hasbro is getting tired of making these movie toys, theyre not even trying anymore.

What a phenomenal idea for the helicopter bot mode! I love the rotor-ammo belts idea! I can't agree though that this is Silverbolt though. At no point have we seen any helicopters on set (at least that I know of) so I'm going to assume that it's not him...they would at least have the copter on set. I'm leaning towards the trailer...it does appear to transform and separate in the trailer.

As for the Wreckers, I'm waiting for stock pictures from the chimpanzees at Hasbro PR department before judging them.

Now for a random thought. These toys are obviously designed simpler and with the kids in mind...much more so than the ROTF and a number of Generations and RTS figures. Could it be that we might see a Collector's Line of DOTM figures, more difficult, better articulated, and more accurate in the future? Or has this backlash from the supreme difficulty levels in the last few waves really forced Hasbro to take any adult collectors out of the thought process completely, leaving things in the hands of third party developers?

Why is everyone so off on the arms? If Blackouts' figure had accurate arms they would be slightly crooked at the elbow too. At least that's what I could figure from the CGI model. The way I figure, the less human their features are the better. S'why I loved Bonecrusher, Hightower, Mixmaster, Scalpel, and all the various little beastformers. Having funky elbows isn't so bad.

My notion for Silverbolt is the fact that there was never a full size F-22 Raptor on set for Starscream, they used a model of one for filming most of the scenes with him or they CG-ed it, so just because no helicopter has been on set does not discount the idea.

Also, where do you see the trailer disconnect and transform? It seems to just disappear like the G1 trailer always did... If it did transform, I figure it becomes a weapons base, not a robot. If the trailer was a robot (save for roller), then he couldn't drive around on his own in alt mode, which is pretty lame. Plus the backpack looks like the parts from Jetfire in ROTF, meaning Ratchet could have fashioned the Jetfire parts into the trailer so they could be easily transported.

Not feeling the cars, and torn about the helicopter. If the rotor doesn't detach or sink back into his chest and lock into place, that's an instant rule-out. Otherwise, he looks nice, but large. Next to the car transformers, he's okay, but next to Blackout, Incinerator, Tomahawk and Raindance (or whatever the news helicopter's official name was), he's too big. On the other hand, next to Energon Springer (Bulkhead?) he should be about right.

I'm intrigued enough to look forward to seeing a Decepticon repaint/remold.

My guess is that the Human-Alliance sub-line will be used to fill that gap. Even though it's being expanded to include cheaper/smaller/simpler characters, I imagine that th $30 price point will persist with new runs of Bumblebee and Sideswipe, and the addition of the Ferrari, the 3 Nascars, and the Mercedes. That's a lot of HA figures. If they go up to a $40 point (unlikely) they could also do Ratchet, Ironhide, and the Dreads - wasn't there a rumor about a 'leader-class' Ironhide ages ago?
