Thanks to the hard workers at EntertainmentEarth we have our first look at the G1 Dinobot inspired repaints of Knockdown, Terrorsaur, Swoop, and Snarl.

I think it's pretty clear who's who in the picture. You're classic Dinobot team of Grimlock, Slag, Swoop and... Catilla? Well Grimlock, Swoop, and Snarl are all in the bag but who knows? Here's hoping Hasbro calls Slag what everyone will call him anyways - Slag!

Check their listing here

Not really my thing. Mini dinos just seem kind of weird.

Well, I don't know if it's because I'm easily amused or what but I'm actually intrigued and more than a little bit tempted to pick these guys up. Of course if I did get them I'd actually have to cave in and get the PCC Dinobots too which might not be a bad thing since the only other TF's worth getting are in the Generations line.

They would make good add ons for PCC Grimstone.

I have the original dino molds and they're not bad as minicons go and these do have a good paint scheme plus the cat would be new ro my collection. whether or not i get these will souly be determined by pricing, $8 is a definite buy $10 is a maybe $12 or above is a pass. Wonder if we'll be seeing more minicon repaints, there were a few good ones i missed out on and would like to pick up.

Love the alt modes. The robot modes are... eh, not terrible, but even at that size they should be better. May or may not get these.

It's really a shame that they threw in a cat instead of designing a Hacksaw toy.

The T-Rex mc is actually one of the best molds of that generation of mc's, with the Pteranadon close behind. The tiger and triceratops, though...

I like the decos, but those are terrible molds, especially the pteradactyl. Pass.

Ddn't an earlier news story state that the Triceratops' name would be "Slagg"?

Those were non-confirmed working names, based on their G1 Ancestors. Now, I'll get back to drooling and crying at the same time...

Those look cool. I don't know why people are complaining about the molds - you do realize these are not new molds, right? Plus, they're just mini-cons. If you want better molds, get the WST Dinobots.

Do we know who is going to be selling these? Will they be available at U.S. retail?

If this had been released as a limited release in Japan, I would have **** a brick.

I'm glad these will be easily available. They look great.

I will say the paint apps on these look better than the original character paint apps.

However tigers are not dinosaurs, and there is no brontosaurus or stegosaurus so this will likely be a pass for me unless it comes out super cheap.

To be fair, Swoop has never been a dinosaur.

Yes, technically a pterosaur is NOT a dinosaur, and neither is a tiger. But if we're gonna go there, then I also have to point out that the "brontosaurus" never existed (http://www.angelfire.com/mi/dinosaurs/brontosaurus.html).

Actually, Brontosaurus and Apatosaurus are used as equal synonyms, though Apatosaurus is preferred in scientific circles since that name was used first.

Purchased on sight! Love the Gee wunniness! Anyone else find it funny that people want Slag named Slag, even though, over the years, slag has become the cybertonian version of fecal matter?

And it's also British slang for "a woman of loose morals", which may be a more important reason why that will never be used again as a name.
